Reaction to the full-scale invasion

On February 22, 2022, immediately prior to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Dangerlyoha professed his love for Russians on his Telegram channel (overlooking the occupation of Crimea and Donbas since 2014):

in any case guys no matter what the fuck happens, I love Russian people, I love the people of the country where I was born, all my close friends are Russians, the main thing is don't fight among yourselves, don't provoke unnecessary scandals, to hell with this cold war, don't be pawns

On February 24, while in Kyiv, Aleksey commented on the terrible bombardment of the capital and decided to blame Biden for "baiting everyone," instead of directly naming Russia as the aggressor.

On the same day, the blogger left for Lviv, and a year later moved to Poland.

On February 26, Aleksey still continued to believe that war "is solely the doing of authorities and the people have nothing to do with it," expressing anxiety for ordinary Russians:

On February 27, Aleksey posted a message on Telegram indirectly indicating who had attacked, but chose to delete it 5 minutes later:

In March 2022, the blogger hosted a stream where he described what was occurring in Ukraine. At that time, Sharf was in western Ukraine and shared impressions of the first strikes on Kyiv, his emotions, and that his father was "stationed in Poltava Oblast, fighting someone there, transporting the wounded." He also spoke about "brainwashed Russians" and self-proclaimed "saviors," mocked the phrase "where were you for 8 years," and said that until the very last moment he had hoped Putin would not attack. The blogger refrained from taking a concrete political position, maintaining that nobody truly knows the facts.

Despite relocating from Ukraine and living abroad, Dangerlyoha continues actively engaging with a Russian audience and earning revenue from the Russian market. In 2025, news emerged regarding his sponsorship deal with the Russian bookmaker company Pari. Maintaining partnerships with Russian commercial entities indicates that after the start of the war, he did not abandon working in the Russian market. This raises questions among a segment of his audience, especially given his Ukrainian background.

Currently, Danger Lyokha lives abroad and continues creating entertainment content. The streamer prefers not to comment directly on the war and avoids political topics, especially since 70% of his audience is from Russia. Overall, he adheres to pacifist rhetoric, speaking against war in general, without displaying either an overt pro-Russian or a clearly expressed pro-Ukrainian stance.
