He was born on July 22, 1995, in the city of Mukachevo, Zakarpattia Oblast (Ukraine). As a teenager, he moved with his parents to Portugal, where he finished high school. Subsequently, he built his career in Russia, living in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Novosibirsk.
Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.
EdisonPts's position on the war in Ukraine
Silence following the outbreak of the war
Following the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, EdisonPts took a position of public silence regarding the war. Despite his Ukrainian origin, the blogger did not make official political statements, publish anti-war manifestos, or openly condemn the actions of the Russian authorities on his primary social media channels.
Online, there are numerous compilations and video clips with titles such as "Edison on the war" or "Edison on Ukraine". Most of them consist of fan edits of isolated remarks from livestreams and contain no comprehensive statements by the blogger on this topic.
Justification of silence on streams
On his livestreams, Eduard repeatedly made it clear that he deliberately avoids the topic of war out of fear of losing the opportunity to live and work in Russia:

Advertising of "Alabuga Polytech" by members of the "NP" team
In 2025–2026, several members of the "Narkomany Petrovichi" (NP) team created by EdisonPts ran advertising integrations for the "Alabuga Polytech" project. Among them were Bishka, Xdanyl, and Chereid. These cases were documented by the project GubanovFiles, which recorded "Alabuga" advertising by Russian bloggers and streamers.
Following massive user complaints, the advertising integrations were removed or edited out of the published videos, and the topic itself received widespread international attention.
Despite the fact that members of "NP" are part of EdisonPts's team and achieved prominence thanks to his project, Eduard Perets made no public comment on the advertising of "Alabuga Polytech" by his colleagues and reported no reaction or discontinuation of cooperation with them.
Continuing a career in Russia
Edison's social media accounts are entered into the official Roskomnadzor (RKN) registry, confirming compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation regarding the oversight of bloggers.
Perets chose to completely distance himself from the topic of the war, continuing to build a career in Russia. Despite his Ukrainian origins, he never publicly supported Ukraine or condemned the Russian invasion. Despite the opportunity to leave for Europe (where his parents reside), Edison preferred to stay and live in Novosibirsk. He thus continues to pay taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation, indirectly financing the Russian economy and military-industrial complex.
