GENSYXA (Natalya Berdnikova) is a Russian streamer on the Twitch platform and a member of the "89 SQUAD" community. Her channel is among the most popular in the Russian-speaking Twitch segment, and in 2025 she was named the Best Female Streamer of the Year at the SLAY Awards. Born on February 8, 1999, in Izhevsk (Russia).

Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.
From 2020 until 2023, she was in a relationship with Ukrainian streamer Evelone (Vadym Kozakov). Gensyxa periodically traveled to Kyiv to visit her partner.
GENSYXA's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Gensyxa made no open statements condemning the armed aggression, choosing a position of silence (despite the fact that her boyfriend was in Kyiv under fire at that time). On February 24, 2022, she posted a message on her Telegram channel announcing the cancellation of her stream due to "some kind of f**king nightmare."

Emotions at the Start of the Invasion and "Special Operation"
At the start of the war during one of her live streams, Natalya shared her anxiety for Vadym "because of the situation in the world." In an emotional moment, she referred to what was happening as a "war", but immediately encountered backlash in the chat from Russian viewers. Frightened by their reaction, she hastily corrected herself, calling the war a "special operation".
There is also a stream segment where Gensyxa reacted to footage of missile strikes near the homes of Ukrainian streamers. Her reaction made it evident that she did not endorse what was happening, yet she avoided uttering any explicit words of condemnation.
In March 2022, the streamer burst into tears during a broadcast while watching the anti-war music video Morgenshtern — "12". She was particularly moved by the audio message at the end of the video from the mother of Ukrainian beatmaker Palagin, who spoke about sheltering in a bomb shelter.
On her Telegram channel, she also wrote about fearing for Vadym's life, worrying that a missile "could hit him."
Emigration and Trying to Sit on Two Stools
In March 2022, she announced that she was "step by step starting to leave Russia." Berdnikova shared that she wanted to convert all her money into cryptocurrency due to fear of a sovereign default in Russia. In July 2022, the streamer reported that she was in Barcelona.
During one of her streams, a telling incident occurred. Reading out a list of cities where her viewers were tuning in from, Gensyxa effectively categorized the capitals of Ukraine and Estonia as Russian cities:
Anapa, Kyiv, Cheboksary, Tallinn, Perm... What, is everyone from Russia or something?
Streamer Guacamolemolly reacted to this episode, mockingly labeling her "our based elephant girl" (a Russian pro-imperialist meme), ridiculing the "slip of the tongue."
Gensyxa registered in the Roskomnadzor (RKN) registry via Gosuslugi. This means the streamer officially submitted her personal details to the Russian state, which monitors and regulates her content.
Gensyxa continues to produce entertainment content, completely avoiding the subject of the war to avoid losing her audience and income streams.
Conflict with JesusAVGN
A striking example of her fear of association with "undesirables" was her public fallout with streamer JesusAVGN (Aleksey Gubanov), who maintains an active anti-war stance. Gensyxa declared that Jesus was "unpleasant" to her, and actively avoided meeting him even when visiting New York.
According to Jesus himself, this behavior stems from sheer cowardice: Natalya is terrified of ending up on Russian "blacklists" for associating with designated foreign agents and Ukraine supporters, which would jeopardize her income and personal safety in Russia.
