Maxim Galkin is a Russian parodist, comedian, television presenter, film actor, and singer. Born on June 18, 1976, in the Naro-Fominsk District, Moscow Oblast.

On November 3, 2021, he was included in the list of persons posing a threat to Ukraine's national security for crossing the Ukrainian state border while visiting temporarily occupied Crimea; on June 22, 2022, he was officially removed from the list.
In the Russian Federation, he has been designated a "foreign agent" (full list of designated artists). Alla Pugacheva petitioned the Ministry of Justice to add her to the foreign agent registry as well: “I stand in solidarity with my husband, an honest, decent, and sincere man, a true and incorruptible patriot of Russia who wishes his Motherland prosperity, peaceful life, and freedom of speech.”
Maxim Galkin's stance on the war in Ukraine
In February 2022, Galkin unequivocally condemned the Russian armed invasion of Ukraine.
On April 22, 2022, he announced that a portion of the funds raised from his upcoming concert tour across Israel would be donated to assist Ukrainian refugees.

On April 24, 2022, he harshly condemned Vladimir Putin and the Russian authorities following a fatal missile strike on residential apartment buildings in Odesa, which killed peaceful civilians, including a three-month-old infant.
What Maxim Galkin says about the war in Ukraine

«Yesterday, on the eve of Holy Easter, on the day the Holy Fire descends, Russian cruise missiles strike a residential building in Odesa, wiping out a family, killing a three-month-old baby. How does all of this add up, explain it to me? To begin with, cruise missiles shouldn't be slamming into residential buildings on ordinary weekdays either, not just on religious holidays. Yet you simultaneously pray with the Patriarch of Jerusalem for peace. You, government officials. You arrive, carry the Holy Fire to Moscow — and simultaneously this very same government sends these missiles. Or is this once again 'not us'? I have already heard the absurd excuse that these 'precision' missiles supposedly hit a residential building because Ukrainian air defense shot them down. So, what, air defense shouldn't operate, and then everything would be fine? Russia is guilty of such an immense quantity of horrific crimes — and all while insisting it isn't guilty. The atrocities in Bucha — 'not us.' The Malaysian Boeing — 'not us.' Mariupol razed to the ground — 'not us.' A missile flies into Odesa — 'well, that's us, but not really us.' Everything is 'not us.' So what on earth are we doing there?»
-
"I decided to transfer a portion of the money earned to assist Ukrainian refugees. I think those who have already purchased tickets will be pleased to know that together we are doing a truly noble deed."
- "Picture a life-size submarine, on top of it a bathyscaphe, on the bathyscaphe a fighter jet, on the fighter jet a Lada Kalina, and standing on the Lada Kalina is Putin in a judo kimono and a hockey helmet, holding an ancient amphora in one hand and cranes in the other. Behind him, right below his waistline, the word 'Motherland' is written in Yuri Shevchuk's handwriting. All of this is hoisted up by cabinet ministers, ordinary peasants, and factory workers, and above them shines a golden banner: 'Like it or not, endure it, my beauty.'"

What celebrities say about Maxim Galkin's stance
Galkin married Alla Borisovna for career advancement and money; he tries to convince his followers that everything that happened is a lie, eager to demonstrate that the comedian has a wonderful relationship with an elderly woman! You'd have to search far and wide to find someone like Maxim! How dare Galkin sling mud at our state and Russian soldiers, having no clue what is actually happening in Ukraine and not knowing what our Motherland truly is. Forgive me, but I always speak the truth about people!
There are artists who literally stained themselves with completely indecent and unacceptable statements. I haven't heard a single such statement from Alla Pugacheva, whereas her husband — yes, he is clearly not on our path; her husband made very bad statements.
He lost everything. He didn't give me the right to disclose specific details, but I will put it this way: the castle (in the village of Gryaz near Moscow, where he lived with Alla Pugacheva and their children – ed.) is already gone. They took everything, a criminal case is being prepared against him, and he is being erased and smeared across the media to the fullest extent. Everything that artists in Russia are terrified of is happening to him.
Who could have imagined that out of all Russian comedians, Maxim Galkin would turn out to have the biggest balls? Before this, only one woman had seen them. Now everyone has looked, though even that's not guaranteed…
