Slepakov's stance on the war in Ukraine
Slepakov in Ukrainian and Russian registries
In March 2018, he was added to the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for unauthorized concert activities in occupied Crimea.
In April 2023, Semyon Slepakov was designated a foreign agent by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
Appeal to halt the war
From the very first day of the war, he has opposed the SMO, supported Ukraine, and mocked the Putin regime and the Kremlin's actions. He left Russia and relocated to Israel.
On February 25, Slepakov published a video appeal to Putin on his Instagram calling for an end to hostilities:
Vladimir Vladimirovich, I know that you revere the memory of our ancestors and our spiritual heritage. I ask you, out of respect for the memory of those who made us better, kinder, and purer, let us find some other way out of this monstrous situation. I understand that things have already gone very far, but you can surely change something if you deem it necessary.

Anti-war satirical songs
In January 2023, Slepakov released a lullaby song sung from the perspective of a Russian mother. The mother laments that her three-year-old son is not yet old enough to go to war, while the middle son has fled to Europe. The eldest son enlisted — and was killed. The song infuriated numerous high-ranking Russian officials.
Additionally, on Semyon's YouTube channel, listeners can find anti-war satirical tracks such as "No to Vobla", "Song of a Patriot", and "It's Not All So Unambiguous".

What celebrities say about Slepakov's stance
He just recently, to please the Nazis, churned out a piece about a «Russian mother» for the people. And so all mothers instantly learned who here is a poet and who is shameless scum. It turns my stomach to analyze these «verses» here. He used to be a popular wit — and now he's gone. It's become fashionable among self-indulgent boors to slander their former benefactress in chorus! Well, no matter! We will overcome everything ourselves... There are still «Pushkins» in the depths of Russia who will leave glorious songs about the heroes of cruel battles to posterity!
He fled shamefully, disparages the Motherland at every corner, hangs out with fellow traitors in Israel, the US, or somewhere in the European backwaters. Semyon, we know each other personally. Look into the eyes of a person on whose films you grew up. How can you act so despicably toward the people on whom you made an unimaginable fortune? You're not worth a dime as an artist, as a citizen, or simply as a human being.
What a louse Semyon Slepakov is! A pitiful, repulsive louse. Not a human being. Just a piece of trash. And you look at them and think, for how many years they eagerly took money from the authorities, from anyone. How utterly pitiful... Sema, you know, you're certainly not a real man at all, you're a pathetic, disgusting beast.
