Aleksandr Revva is a participant in the Russian television project Comedy Club, comedic actor, showman, and pop singer. His stage personas include Artur Pirozhkov, Alexey Novatsky, and Babushka. Born on September 10, 1974, in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR.

The artist holds Ukrainian citizenship and has always spoken openly about it, despite also holding Russian citizenship. In 2014, he made the decision not to visit occupied Donetsk, where his father resides, and remained faithful to that decision.
Until 2022, according to Russian media reports, Artur Pirozhkov was one of the highest-paid singers in Russia.
Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Aleksandr Revva's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, on February 24, 2022, he published an Instagram post calling for the war to stop (the post was subsequently deleted):
I beg you! Stop! Think of the elderly and the children!

Following that, he chose not to discuss the subject of war publicly. Nevertheless, the artist increasingly encountered the cancellation or postponement of his concerts in the Russian Federation.
Due to his initial stance, Aleksandr had a falling-out with his father, who actively supports the invasion and Putin's actions.
Return to Russia and participation in war propaganda
Following the outbreak of the war, Revva and his family left Russia, but in September 2022 the artist returned to Moscow and began appearing once again at celebrity events, including taking part in the "Song of the Year" festival. Aleksandr continues living and working in Russia. In addition to filming for NTV, he is a regular guest on TNT television and music awards shows.
Artur Pirozhkov took part in filming the "Goluboy Ogonyok 2025/2026" (Little Blue Light) New Year's broadcast on state-run television channel Rossiya-1, where the primary honored guests were participants in the "SMO". Performing in such an environment makes an artist part of the propaganda that glorifies the war. Even without making loud proclamations from the stage, entertaining the occupiers is a deliberate choice in favor of supporting Russian aggression.
