Dima Maslennikov is one of the most popular Russian video bloggers, TV presenters, and musicians. He is known for his extreme challenge shows, explorations of paranormal and abandoned sites («Ghostbuster»), and large-scale entertainment projects. He was born on December 21, 1994, in Ust-Katav, Russia.

Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.
In 2020, he visited Russian-occupied Crimea to film a video about the "Alsu" bunker in Sevastopol, which was built during the Soviet era amid the threat of nuclear war as a backup command post for the Black Sea Fleet. Subsequently, he was added to the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for illegally visiting Crimea.
Dima Maslennikov's stance on the war in Ukraine
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Dmitry Maslennikov has adhered to a strategy of public neutrality. Unlike many of his peers, he has made no vocal statements either in support of the "special military operation" or in condemnation of the Kremlin's actions.
In the media landscape, Maslennikov is frequently cited as one of the prominent "silent figures" among top bloggers. His content remains strictly entertainment-focused, and any topics related to politics or the war are entirely ignored across his channels.
Advertising Alabuga
In February 2023, Maslennikov released a video featuring an advertising integration for the Alabuga-Polytech college (currently, the video is unavailable on YouTube). At the time, this educational institution was positioned as a modern technical educational center, and information about its possible links to the military-industrial complex of Russia was not publicly disclosed. Investigations and reports exposing the project's involvement in the production of strike drones only became widely known in the summer of 2023. Thus, at the moment the advertising integration was published, the blogger had no confirmed data that would unequivocally interpret cooperation with Alabuga as direct support for the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.
Cooperation with state structures and VK
Despite the absence of direct political rhetoric, Maslennikov's activities are tightly integrated into the Russian state-aligned media system:
- Work on television: The blogger continues to host shows on federal and entertainment television channels (such as "Friday!"), which would be impossible if he held an anti-war stance.
- Priority on the VK platform: Maslennikov is an ambassador and key content creator for the VK Video platform, which is actively promoted by the Russian state as a domestic replacement for YouTube.
- Participation in state concerts: The artist regularly appears at major youth festivals and events organized with the backing of pro-government entities.
In accordance with new Russian legislation, in February 2026, Dima Maslennikov officially registered his platforms in the special Roskomnadzor registry (the register of bloggers with an audience exceeding 10,000 followers). This step is mandatory to continue legal operations in Russia and receive advertising revenue. Registration implies the resource owner's willingness to submit personal data and audience data upon request from the authority, as well as comply with restrictions on publishing "prohibited information."
Dima Maslennikov demonstrates complete loyalty to Russian legislation and state-run media platforms. His stance is a deliberate distancing from the war in order to preserve his career, audience reach, and the security of his business within the Russian Federation.
