«My» is a Russian-Ukrainian dream-pop band consisting of Daniil Shaikhinurov and Dasha Ventu. Former vocalists include Eva Gourari (Mirele) and Ksenia Shevchenko. Daniel Shake was born in Russia, and the original lead singer Eva Gourari holds Israeli citizenship, but in practice the collective is now Ukrainian, as Daniil resided in Kyiv for an extended period and considers himself part of Ukrainian society, while Dasha Ventu is of Ukrainian origin.

«My»’s Position on the War in Ukraine
During the initial days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the band's frontman Daniel Shake was in Kyiv, where he published an appeal supporting Ukraine and condemning the war on social media:

In early March, Daniil posted the following statement:
There is no civil war in Ukraine — but war does exist — Putin's men attacked — they are killing people and destroying cities since 24/02/2022. Unfortunately, many do not believe what is happening, but while this continues the entire world is under threat. This is the exact moment when by thinking of others, you save yourselves. Believe it and do everything you can to stop Putin, stop the war, and save the world.

Daniil urged fellow musicians and content creators not to stay silent regarding the so-called "SMO":
Artists and bloggers from the Russian Federation, do not remain silent! Let us remove Putin from Ukraine — and we will save the entire world.
On March 7, 2022, the duo released the song «Nadiya» («Hope»), which marked the duo's first track in the Ukrainian language. The lyrics of this song were drawn from the poem of the same name by iconic Ukrainian poetess Lesya Ukrainka:
This song is dedicated to those who now had to flee their country because of the war, but first and foremost dedicated to those who left their country = their home = their cozy native apartment, cottage or room because they must stay in bomb shelters, basements and underground metro stations or because their building was simply destroyed — dedicated to those who will be saved by hope which will return them home to the country where, just as before the war, one could peacefully drink tea in the evening with family planning tomorrow and, instead of listening anxiously to sirens, explosions and flying aircraft, listen to the singing of birds and the pure calm of peaceful silence.
Following this release, the duo presented a number of additional songs in the Ukrainian language, expressing continuing solidarity and support for Ukrainians.
