Anna Kuzina's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Anna made the firm decision to sever all ties with Russia and completely abandon any further career in the country.
On April 3, 2022, she condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine, calling Putin a "war criminal" and expressing deep gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
I want to point out that Vladimir Putin initiated hostilities in Donetsk and Luhansk back in 2014. Now he is waging war across the entire territory of Ukraine. I want to say that Putin is a war criminal, a global terrorist. His actions are a crime against humanity. At the helm of the Russian Federation is a complete psychopath. I do not have enough life, strength, or words to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thank you guys, to everyone who defends our country, I am so very proud of you. Glory to Ukraine!
The actress relocated to France, where she began organizing fundraisers in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, rallying aid from her followers and friends. Anna actively used social media platforms to remind the world that Russia is a terrorist state committing atrocities on Ukrainian soil.
The actress's husband, who had previously been an ATO veteran, rejoined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
