Elizaveta Vasilenko is a Ukrainian actress, model, and blogger. She achieved fame through the lead role in the TV series "Shkola" ("School") on the 1+1 TV channel. Born on June 30, 1998, in Dnipro, Ukraine.

In 2021, she moved to live and work in Moscow. On March 31, in an interview on the YouTube channel "Pushka", Liza complained about unjustified criticism directed at her for moving to Moscow and spoke disparagingly about Ukraine:
But whenever some crap happens to me, I always think: it's definitely better to croak here than in Ukraine
My audience hated on me after moving, like «sold out the country, bla-bla-bla». But I don't react to it at all. Frankly, I can call such people stupid. Honestly, it's stupidity—judging a person by their nationality, judging a person by where they moved or didn't move... Damn it, if I moved to America, I wouldn't be hated on then. Strictly because Russia and Ukraine are ****** (bickering), for some reason they drag into this other people who have nothing to do with it. ... That's not normal
There are very few opportunities in Ukraine, and they pay very little for it. It's cool if you strive for more. Moscow is more
In April 2021, she was listed in the Myrotvorets database for participating in Russian information provocations against Ukraine and denying Russian aggression.
Liza Vasilenko's Stance on the War in Ukraine
After February 24, 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale invasion, Vasilenko's stance changed drastically. She publicly apologized for her past words, stating that she is ashamed of them and has changed:
I feel ashamed, I endured a certain amount of hate. This tail has been following me for a year. I understood the full essence of that phrase only when the war started. I apologized, I'm very ashamed and sorry. My priorities have shifted colossally... I am already a different Liza. Not the one who was here a year ago, with different thoughts, understanding. We all make mistakes, but I am ready to face punishment if necessary
She also attended anti-war rallies in the Russian Federation following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, organized aid fundraisers, and posted anti-war appeals in her Instagram stories.
The actress severed all ties with Russia, left the country, and relocated first to Turkey, then to Europe:
I renounced everything—money, advertising in the RF. For me, everything vanished when the war started. Never again
I just live for today. I continue searching for myself. I let myself dream. In any confusing situation, I will always return. For me, my family and my people are everything
Vasilenko's parents live in Dnipro and are not considering leaving for now:
Mom is a huge patriot. She and dad will stay in Ukraine until the end
In turn, Vasilenko has no plans to return to Ukraine, as she sees no prospects for self-fulfillment:
If I go to Ukraine, I won't be able to do anything there, to fulfill myself. I understand that because of the war, I am not obliged to drown myself further and abandon my dreams
Finding herself in the status of a "traitor" in both countries, Liza lives in London and earns an income on OnlyFans.
Celebrities on Liza Vasilenko's Stance
I saw, and I remember that when the full-scale invasion had just begun, she came out on her Instagram, in her stories, tried to tell the truth to her followers, tried somehow to support, even organized some fundraisers. Later on I didn't follow her and don't know whether she maintained contact with Ukraine
