Since 2011, he has performed with his musical projects under the names: "Boris Grim and Bratya Grim" (pop-rock), "Octopus Maiden" (psychedelic rock), "Lirrika" (lo-fi), and "Ufology" (synth-pop). Since 2020, the musician's concert activities have been suspended. Born on June 6, 1981, in Samara, Russian SFSR.

Boris Grim's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Boris Burdaev posted a general anti-war message on his Instagram (the post has since been deleted):
The lessons of the twentieth century taught us nothing, and humanity was unable to resist the destructive power of the collective unconscious carrying us into the abyss of a ravenous ego. We will carry this cross for a long time. Each in their own way... And it will no longer be possible to pretend that nothing is happening. The tank treads of this tragedy have left a mark on the back of every inhabitant of the planet. You can call me a naive pacifist, but I believe that love and common sense can always halt any hellish machine.
In contrast to Boris, his twin brother Konstantin Burdaev holds a clear pro-war position.
