CMH on the war

On April 24, 2022, Ruslan wrote a post on Telegram in which he warmly recalled his concert in Kyiv and criticized Russians for believing state propaganda:

2021. Concert in Kyiv. Over 600 people attended. I remember that concert and the people with such warmth. So much so that I stayed to live there for a month and didn't want to fly back. The war must end, I feel sickened by my fellow citizens who don't know how to filter information and believe everything blindly. Every day I talk with followers from Kyiv and other cities. I listen to stories that bring tears to my eyes. I love Russia, but I don't understand these people, alas :(

On April 29, the blogger promoted the charity Save Ukraine Tour of the band "Poshlaya Molly" in support of Ukraine:

On June 24, 2022, CMH shared a link on his Telegram channel to the anti-war music video "Generation Cancellation" by the band Little Big. And in May, he spoke out harshly against pro-war Z-patriots attacking fellow rappers:

Pathetic crybabies, I don't feel sorry for them whatsoever. People with the letter Z on their cars who support the war are living below the line of intellectual disability. When such people die out, Russia will flourish

Furthermore, during a livestream, CMH openly criticized people supporting the war and acknowledged that Crimean territory is occupied.

Shift in position

Ruslan Tushentsov continues living and performing concerts across Russia. He deleted all previous posts condemning the war. Today, alongside his artist friends GSPD and Dead Blonde, he promotes narratives about a "great Russia" and fosters patriotic militaristic fervor among youth.

Ekaterina Mizulina on Telegram: «Against the backdrop of these depressive anti-Russian sentiments among the 'old guard,' it is pleasing to see that our young musicians are so patriotic. Followers report that yesterday at the CMH concert, the entire hall chanted 'Russia' in unison at the performer's prompt.

In April 2024, in an interview on Dzharakhov's YouTube channel, CMH praised the Russian authorities and described how richly Russians live even in the provinces:

Russia is fucking awesome, and generally governing the biggest country in the world, where there's a heap of ethnicities... that is hard... And when people say 'oh, you have those guys sitting in power'.. no, if they weren't like that, the country would be fucked. But with us, everything is fucking great. I come to my hometown, and guys earn 100 grand, on rotational shifts 150 grand, in the police 70 grand. And they claim we don't have microwaves or toilets. Everyone has a PlayStation 5, salaries are good, everyone drives foreign cars...

In April 2025, during one of his concerts, the artist performed the song "Matushka-Zemlya", glorifying mother Russia and imperialist tropes. At concerts, he continues to lead crowds in chanting "Russia".

While boasting about how good life is in Russia and how much they love their homeland, these artists prefer to stay completely silent about what their "great power" is actually doing in neighboring lands — the immense suffering, devastation, and tens of thousands of lives extinguished by Russia's war against Ukraine.

Participation in fundraiser for electronic warfare equipment

In August 2024, he participated in a charity concert intended to raise funds for humanitarian assistance to residents of Kursk Oblast affected by military actions. Crucially, part of the collected funds was explicitly earmarked for the procurement of electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the Russian army.
