«Operatsiya Plastilin» is a Russian punk-rock band formed in Tambov in 2002 by vocalist Svetlana Burlaka and guitarist Anatoly Tsaryov. Currently, the band's frontman is Anatoly Tsaryov, and the frontwoman is Katerina Tsion-Knyazheva.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
The band was famous for its anti-war and protest songs well before the full-scale invasion, supported opposition rallies, and held a clear civic stance. Their motto was "Freedom, Love and Peace", reflected in the symbolic imagery on their logo.
«Operatsiya Plastilin»’s Position on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the members of «Operatsiya Plastilin» initially spoke out against the war and in the autumn of 2022 released the anti-war album "Blackout".
The band continued touring across cities of the Russian Federation, although they periodically faced concert postponements.
In February 2024, the band was placed on the blacklist of musical artists «banned from concert activities in Russia», published by Meduza. Following this, the songs "Revolyutsiya" («Revolution») and "Ne tak" («Not That Way») were purged from digital streaming platforms, and subsequently the musicians executed a total about-face.
On April 1, 2024, the band published a post from destroyed Mariupol, reporting on their tour to the occupied Donetsk region, socializing with military servicemen and local residents:
We have returned from a journey across the Donetsk region. We observed everything with our own eyes, conversed with local residents and military personnel, sang our songs. Cities are coming back to life, and existence triumphs and carries on. May music sound out, and may there always be a peaceful sky overhead.

Many fans initially presumed this was an April Fools' Day prank. However, considering that the band locked comments and messaging functions across all social networks as well as under their latest YouTube videos, and announced a new concert tour across Russia, it proved to be reality.
