OG Buda (Grigory Lyakhov) is a Russian hip-hop and rap artist, songwriter, composer, actor, and member of the creative collectives «RNDM Crew» and «Melon Music». Born on January 10, 1994 in Tyumen, Russia.
Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In May 2021, a complaint was filed against OG Buda with the Safe Internet League, requesting that the Ministry of Internal Affairs investigate his songs for drug propaganda.
OG Buda’s Position on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, OG Buda spoke out against the war, writing on his social media accounts:
In this photo I am in Kyiv. In the other, in Kharkiv. My first solo tour across Ukraine. The most powerful concerts in terms of energy, feedback, positivity, and overall mood. I was welcomed and embraced with incredible warmth; I met a large number of interesting and pleasant guys whom I now consider my friends. It is terrifying to imagine that right now they are hiding in basements and unable to get in touch... It is terrifying. Terrifying for them. Terrifying for us. I am not a politician and not a political scientist; I am an artist, and I am against war. What is right to say in this situation and what is not, I don't know, but what is going on right now is complete horror. What bombing, people? The day will never be as bright for anyone as before. I wish everyone a peaceful sky overhead and that all of this ends as soon as possible. Ukraine is our brothers.
However, after some time all anti-war posts were deleted, and OG Buda, as if nothing had happened, participated in music festivals and actively toured cities across the Russian Federation.
In October 2025, during an interview, when answering a question regarding his nationality, OG Buda made a hand gesture resembling the letter Z and uttered the phrase: “Russia is in the building!” The letter Z is a recognized symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The artist himself provided no detailed explanation for this stunt.
For this gesture, the performer was entered into the database of the Myrotvorets website under the classification: "Propaganda of war, Russian fascism, and Nazism. Public support for Russian aggression and the murder of Ukrainian citizens. Accomplice in the crimes of the Russian authorities against Ukraine and its citizens."
