Electroforez / Электрофорез is a Russian synth-pop band formed in 2012 in Saint Petersburg by Ivan Kurochkin (who used the stage name Svyatozar Chernousov until 2014) and Vitaly Talyzin (formerly using the pseudonym Toporov).

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In 2020, the duo recorded a track in the Ukrainian language titled "Proshchatysya Nazavzhdy" ("To Say Goodbye Forever") in collaboration with Kyiv pop singer Lucy. In the band's earlier discography, one can also find another Ukrainian-language track, "Pidlitok" ("Teenager").
Position of Electroforez on the war in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory, the band "Electroforez" chose a stance of complete silence. The musicians have always maintained an apolitical public image, and as a result, no reaction to the so-called "special military operation" followed from the band members.
In February 2024, the group was included in an unofficial blacklist of performers "prohibited from concert activity" across Russia. Judging by available details, this was due to their silent stance. Everything points toward a situation in Russia where only musicians who publicly endorse the Kremlin's policies, assist the Russian occupiers, and travel with concerts to the Donbas are allowed to perform on stage.
Electroforez has a scheduled concert tour across Russian cities starting in July 2024. Whether they will face concert cancellations and provocations by pro-war activists remains unknown.
