KSB muzic is a Russian pop-rock band formed in Volgograd in 2022. The founder, frontman, and lead vocalist of the group is Goel Ioffe.

KSB muzic's stance on the war in Ukraine

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.

KSB muzic's Stance on the War in Ukraine

Following the outbreak of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the band members adopted a stance of silence. Frontman Goel Ioffe and the other musicians have never explicitly spoken out in condemnation of Russian aggression, nor have they endorsed the so-called “special military operation.”

Anti-War Motifs in Songs

In 2023, KSB muzic released the single “War” (“Voyna”). In the song, warfare is depicted as an agonizing source of devastation and meaningless brutality, with the lyrics conveying direct visceral rejection of armed conflict:

How f*cking sick of you I am, war...
How many more tears must be shed?
Maybe when the world burns down to ash,
Man will finally learn how to love...

However, as stated on the Genius website: “This track was dedicated by Goel Ioffe (leader of KSB muzic) to his friend who died in the war between Israel and Palestine.”

In 2026, the group released the song “Someday 2” (“Kogda-nibud 2”), featuring explicit pleas to halt violence and refrain from pulling the trigger. The lyrics also contain direct appeals regarding mothers waiting for their living sons to return home:

Desecration of deaths, all for peace and the children...
All rockets need astronauts, and mothers need living sons...
Let's shake each other's hands and not pull the trigger...

Concurrently, the song voices an admission of intimidation regarding open public dissent: “I despise my soy protest, I cannot say things as they truly are.”

Banning of Tracks by Roskomnadzor

In April 2025, Russian state communications regulator Roskomnadzor banned eight KSB muzic tracks simultaneously across Russian streaming services. The ban was presumably triggered by provocative subject matter in their songs (for instance, the popular single “Stepfather” dealt with sensitive themes of domestic violence and addiction). This caused the temporary removal of almost the band's entire catalog from digital distribution platforms.

The track “War” was not among the tracks directly blocked by Roskomnadzor. It disappeared from platforms subsequently as a consequence of broader catalog takedowns by the distributor or the musicians themselves.

The band continues to live and work in Russia, maintaining complete public silence regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war.
