Mayni on the war

On his Telegram channel, Mayni published information about shelling and its consequences, trying to convey to the Russian audience what was truly happening in Ukraine.

In April 2022, he decided to donate money from his livestreams to a relief fund for refugees from Ukraine, organized by Oleksii Shevtsov (Itpedia).

Missile strike during a livestream

In August 2025, during a livestream, his hometown of Kamianske came under missile attack. Ballistic missile explosions occurred in close proximity to the streamer's home. Being in the safest windowless room of his apartment, Vlad expressed deep indignation live on stream that strikes are carried out against civilian targets and disrupt the lives exclusively of peaceful civilians. Commenting on the strike near his brother's home, he emphasized that the affected area was definitely not military infrastructure.

Responding to advice to relocate to Russia, specifically to Rostov, Mayni bluntly declared that he would never go there for obvious reasons. He also explained that he cannot legally leave Ukraine, while he considers illegal methods unacceptable, as this would deprive him of his legitimate income as an entrepreneur who pays taxes.

The blogger also addressed the country's internal problems, noting that society's attitude toward military service had changed considerably and the army was increasingly being perceived as a form of punishment.

The streamer spoke warmly of his community, thanking viewers from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Belarus for their sanity and lack of hatred, and for not lowering themselves to the level of "cannibals."

Criticism of internal issues within Ukraine

In July 2025, he openly spoke out against corruption, rising utility rates, and harsh mobilization methods in Ukraine. The blogger also admitted that he faced harassment from radicals due to creating content in Russian — haters had even leaked his personal data. Despite this, Mayni remains in Ukraine, pays taxes, and contributes to humanitarian fundraisers.

Criticism of "Alabuga Polytech" advertising

In August 2025, Mayni spoke out harshly about the Russian college "Alabuga Polytech", which certain bloggers had started advertising. He explained to viewers that students there are forced to assemble "Shahed" drones, which are then used to bomb Ukraine. In Vlad's view, promoting such a place for money is a compromise of conscience that is far worse and dirtier than advertising online casinos.

Attitude toward Z-bloggers and contract soldiers

In early 2026, Mayni outlined a firm stance regarding influencers who support the war. He stated that he does not separate the author from their content, which is why Z-propagandists (for example, Moonlighter) are permanently deleted from his watchlists. Vlad described the "patriotism" of those promoting such narratives while living in the US as absurd, and also condemned bloggers (specifically Bebey) for providing a media platform to individuals who openly rejoice in people's deaths. He considers attempts to justify harsh statements as "trolling and post-irony" to be a manifestation of pure cannibalism.

Mayni compared two bloggers — Banan and Topaz. He emphasized that there is an enormous difference between them: while Banan donates to the AFU and helps those defending their country and civilian population, Topaz directly commits war crimes, brags about it, and laughs at it. In Vlad's view, supporting defenders and supporting attackers are entirely different things separated by an abyss.

Commenting on the situation of Russian contract soldiers who were coerced into signing documents, Mayni labeled the practice of intimidation itself "the utmost scumminess." He noted that he feels neutral toward such people, but only until the moment they fire in the direction of Ukrainians. In such situations, the streamer urged finding any way to surrender into captivity or sabotage orders, because signing a contract is, in any case, "a death sentence to oneself."
