"Stigmata" is a Russian metalcore band formed in 2000 in Saint Petersburg. The band's founder is Taras Umansky, and the frontman is Artyom "Nel'son" Lotskikh.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In July 2017, the members of the band were entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for illegal touring activities on the territory of Russian-occupied Crimea.
Later, in an interview, Taras Umansky explained why the band cannot perform concerts in Ukraine:
With that concert (note: in Crimea) we didn't want to say something like «Russia forward» or «we don't like Ukraine.» I myself am half Ukrainian. Everyone who has been to our concerts knows that we feel an awesome amount of warmth toward Ukraine in general... Why they posted us there (note: on the Myrotvorets website) — for some kind of political reasons. It's totally not our whim and everyone knows that we are a completely apolitical band.... No one warned us that there would be such an issue, and it's not like we acted dismissively toward the concert; nothing like that at all, we just held an ordinary concert.
Artyom Lotskikh commented on the entry ban to Ukraine as follows:
The only thing I remember well is when I learned about when, like, Russian military forces entered Crimea. At that moment I simply sat on the floor, grabbed my head with my hands and said — what for? Of course, I don't understand politics, but if something like that happened — I don't understand people at all. I reacted to the ban in the exact same way, and the only thing I cannot understand is: do both your authorities and ours really care so little about people that they deny them the chance to see their favorite artists live?... That's what happened with Crimea — well, what happened happened, God will be the judge of those politicians. We would have travelled through the Ukrainian border, but our tour schedule was pressing — so that's how this whole mess turned out..
Stigmata's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the members of Stigmata adopted a stance of silence, without offering a single comment regarding their country's military aggression.
In 2025, Stigmata participated in the KKinchevFest concert. The organizer of the event, musician Konstantin Kinchev (leader of the band "Alisa"), is known for his pro-Putin stance and support for the war, as are most of the artists performing at this festival.
The band continues to live and work in Russia, actively touring cities across the Russian Federation.
