Zhuki band on the war in Ukraine

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.

The artists have not performed concerts in the occupied territories of Ukraine (Crimea, the so-called DPR and LPR) and are not included on sanctions lists.

Zhuki Band's Stance on the War in Ukraine

Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, members of the band "Zhuki" did not say a single word about the military aggression, adopting a stance of silence. The musicians have always been apolitical, and consequently decided not to make any statements regarding the so-called special military operation.

"Zhuki" were billed as performers for the 2023 "Nashestvie" festival, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Defense of Russia. However, for security reasons, the festival was postponed to 2024. The festival lineup included performances by artists who, for the most part, supported the military invasion of Ukraine: "VA-BANK", "Animatsiya", "Affinage", Vadim Samoylov, Olga Kormukhina and Alexey Belov, The Hatters, "Kalinov Most", "Murakami", "Pilot", "Surganova and Orchestra", 7B, UMA2RMAN, "Severny Flot", "Plan Lomonosova", F.P.G, and others.

The band does not maintain an active touring schedule, preferring to perform at private corporate events, and rarely releases new songs. For example, in May 2024, Zhuki released "Moya" (Mine), their first new song in 6 years. The musicians are similarly passive in their management of social media.
