On February 27, 2022, he posted a video appeal on social media to his Russian followers, attempting to convey the truth about all the horrors committed by Russia in Ukraine:

I am from Ukraine, I have lived here for 26 full years... right now there is a war going on in my country. I realize that among my audience there are Russian-speaking followers, residents of Russia, and they must know that Russia attacked my country. They are bombing our cities. Every single day we have to sit in shelters, listen to sirens, gunfire from various weapons, missiles flying past us, and exploding shells. Sometimes these missiles hit residential buildings, meaning ordinary civilians suffer as well. You yourselves have seen plenty of videos showing that Russia doesn't always strike militarized targets. Sometimes missiles hit kindergartens, hospitals, or residential homes. I witnessed this myself. I was in Kyiv, sitting in my home, and literally nearby, about two kilometers from me, a missile slammed straight into a residential building. It was destroyed, people were hurt. This is truly horrifying. And I want my Russian audience to know that a war is taking place here. Tell everyone about this. Everything they show you on television is f***ing lies. Guys, listen: this is no longer any kind of special operation; this is the conquest of my country, and I want everyone to know it. I hope you will do something about this. Thank you for your attention; peace and safety to everyone from Ukraine. I hope everything will be fine with us, that we will prevail, and that peace will finally return above our heads.

He also published a post:

... it pains me to watch missiles hitting residential buildings, people dying; it feels as if the enemy doesn't give a f*** where they strike, as long as it inflicts harm on everyone living in Ukraine. I stumbled upon a video where a Russian military checkpoint gunned down a father in front of his son's eyes — how can you say after that that they don't hit civilians, you b***hes... You and I — we make each other stronger, there is no other way, and on top of that we can raise money on streams to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In March 2022, the blogger explained that his attitude toward Russian people had not changed:

My attitude toward Russian people hasn't changed. I understand everything perfectly. Politics and so forth — you can't do anything about it. Yes, I understand you can take to the streets, chant, hold protests, but you'll simply be locked up. Considering you did that before the war, both against Putin and for Navalny... and you achieved f***-all. That is to say, I don't harbor dislike for the people themselves, the Russians as individuals; I feel no negativity toward them.

Financial Support for Ukrainians

Zloy donated $10,000 to assist victims in the Kherson region and also contributed 666,000 rubles during a charity stream organized by JesusAVGN to aid Ukrainian civilians.

He donated 200,000 hryvnias to a children's charitable foundation (following the missile strike on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv).
