Dmitry Dyuzhev is a Russian actor and singer. He gained widespread popularity for his iconic role as Kosmos in the cult crime drama television series «Brigada» (Law of the Lawless). Born on July 9, 1978, in Astrakhan, RSFSR.

"Support" for Maidan
At the onset of Russian armed aggression in 2014, Dmitry Dyuzhev found himself at the center of an intense media controversy. Information circulated across the internet claiming that the actor had supported the Ukrainian «Revolution of Dignity» and condemned the Russian propaganda apparatus, which had unleashed an anti-Ukrainian disinformation campaign prior to the occupation of Crimea.
Subsequently, an "open letter" addressed to the citizens of Russia and Ukraine was disseminated on social media under Dyuzhev's name, in which he allegedly apologized for the actions of the Russian authorities and accused the leadership of the Russian Federation of unlawful military actions. However, in April 2014, this information was officially refuted. It was revealed that the social media accounts issuing the statements were fake, and the actor himself had never made such declarations, remaining completely loyal to official Moscow.

In July 2017, he was entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" center for conducting illegal commercial touring activities in Russian-occupied Crimea.
Dyuzhev's stance on the war in Ukraine
Dmitry Dyuzhev maintains a consistent and aggressive pro-war position.
- March 18, 2022: Rally-Concert at Luzhniki Stadium. Dyuzhev appeared at the massive Kremlin-organized rally «For a World Without Nazism», commemorating the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. It was here that he delivered his most viral theatrical appeal:
Glorify Russia! Glorify her standing! With faith, hope, and love in your hearts for our Motherland!
- May 11, 2022: Trip to occupied Donetsk. The actor traveled to the city during celebrations marking the so-called "republic day." He performed on stage at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Addressing local residents and occupying Russian military personnel, he declared:
We are proud of you! You are true heroes who are writing the new history of our great state today. You are an example for the whole world.
-
September 8, 2023: Appearance at Saur-Mogila. Dyuzhev took part in a concert commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Donbas from Nazi invaders, staged at the Saur-Mogila war memorial. In his address, he drew direct ideological parallels between World War II and the current Russian aggression, justifying the criminal actions of the Russian military.
-
Regular appearances at Z-propaganda rallies. The actor became a fixture at all major state propaganda events. In February 2023, during the "Glory to the Defenders of the Fatherland" rally-concert, he once again proclaimed slogans praising the invincibility of the Russian army. In April 2026, Dyuzhev continued his touring circuit across Russian cities and occupied Ukrainian territories with performances explicitly exalting the "Russian World."

- Latvia: The actor has been officially banned from entering the country and declared persona non grata for endorsing Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine.
Dmitry Dyuzhev's position remains entirely unwavering: he fully endorses the military invasion, leverages his celebrity status to mobilize public support within the Russian Federation, and regularly visits occupied territories for propaganda objectives.
