Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov is a Russian professional esports player in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, streamer, and world champion. He achieved international acclaim after winning the prestigious PGL Major Kraków 2017 tournament as part of Gambit Esports. Dosia's Position on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov opted for a neutral stance and refrained from making any public statements. He did not speak out in condemnation of military operations, but nor did he post content supporting the so-called "SMO" or the Russian leadership.
Dosia is a patriot of his country and a supporter of state militaristic commemoration ("pobedobesie"). In May 2023, he staged his "own Victory Parade" and "Immortal Regiment" inside the video games Garry's Mod and Minecraft.
In June 2023, Dosia became the subject of public debate following a post celebrating Russia Day. In response to criticism, he replied that he did not consider it right to dictate to people what holidays they should celebrate.
Promoting Alabuga
In April 2026, Dosia participated in the ALABUGA POLYTECH CUP CS2 tournament organized by "Alabuga Polytech," which since 2023 has been involved in the production of military kamikaze drones. The facility is included on EU and US sanctions lists for manufacturing weapons used in the war against Ukraine and forms part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
Participation in such initiatives constitutes direct complicity with the Russian war machine and the popularization of military production among youth.
The Ukrainian esports community and numerous Twitch users filed mass reports against the streamers, accusing them of supporting arms manufacturing that kills civilians. Immediately following his participation in the tournament at Alabuga, Dosia's Twitch channel was temporarily banned.
