fANDERCS's Position on the War in Ukraine
Following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Ilya Bagreev wrote on his Telegram "Stay safe brothers," reposted a text stating "it's not our fault, those at the top do whatever they please," and recorded a voice note wishing for the story to end as quickly and somewhat peacefully as possible. Afterwards, the streamer opted for an "out of politics" stance.
Promoting Alabuga
In April 2026, Ilya "fANDERCS" participated in the ALABUGA POLYTECH CUP CS2 tournament, organized by "Alabuga Polytech," which since 2023 has been involved in the production of military kamikaze drones. The facility is included on EU and US sanctions lists for producing weapons for the war against Ukraine and forms part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
Participation in such projects was widely seen as direct complicity with the Russian war machine and the popularization of arms manufacturing among youth.
The Ukrainian esports community and numerous Twitch users filed mass reports against the streamers, accusing them of endorsing the manufacture of weapons used to kill civilians. Immediately after taking part in the tournament at Alabuga, fANDER's Twitch channel was temporarily banned.
He is registered with the Roskomnadzor registry via Gosuslugi. This means that the Russian government officially monitors and regulates his activities.
