Larisa Guzeeva is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1994). Since 2008, she has hosted the program "Davay Pozhenimsya!" ("Let's Get Married!"). Born on May 23, 1959, in the village of Burtinskoye, Orenburg Oblast. Citizenship: Russia.
In December 2017, she was entered into the database of the Myrotvorets website for deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine in order to enter Russian-occupied Crimea, illegal touring activities in annexed Crimea, and anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
In an interview with Katerina Gordeeva, Guzeeva outlined her position on Crimea:
Crimea is ours.... I like Moscow, I like what is happening... I am an absolute vatnitsa
Larisa Guzeeva's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Larisa Guzeeva decided to adopt a position of silence. Despite her previous admiration for Kremlin policies, the actress refrained from directly defining her attitude towards the war.
In October 2023, in an interview for RIA Novosti, Guzeeva stated:
I am not a crazy person and I understand what times we live in, what is happening in the world. I cannot be an isolated happy woman and artist, rejoicing and merrymaking. I am together with my people.
On May 8, 2024, an episode of the show "Let's Get Married!" aired, dedicated to the so-called SMO and providing assistance to Russian military personnel.
