MellSher (real name Igor Sherstyuk, also known as Igoryao) is a Russian video blogger, streamer, and musician from Rostov-on-Don. He gained wide prominence in the Russian-speaking segment of Twitch and YouTube thanks to collaborative content with streamer 5opka and participation in the gaming community "Army 42". In addition to gaming broadcasts, Igor is actively engaged in music and releases his own albums.

Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.
MellSher's position on the war in Ukraine
Following the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, MellSher published a post on his Telegram channel expressing incomprehension of what was happening, but wishing "Peaceful skies overhead and to stay safe"

The following day, February 25, another post was released in which he used rhetoric about "one people":
We are brotherly people 100%! Peace to everyone and a prompt end to this horror
In the days that followed, he regularly informed his audience about the introduction of various international sanctions against the Russian Federation and periodically complained that he did not understand their true purpose.
The streamer's resources have been added to the official Roskomnadzor (RKN) registry, confirming compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation regarding the oversight of bloggers.
Performance of the song "Ya Russkiy" at a concert
Overall, throughout the entire duration of the hostilities, MellSher has positioned himself as "above politics," and no obvious, open Z-stance was observed from him. However, on May 22, 2026, Igor Sherstyuk, together with streamer 5opka, publicly sang the song "Ya Russkiy" ("I am Russian" — a patriotic track by artist SHAMAN actively used by Russian propaganda). Such actions demonstrate apparent changes in the artists' behavior and may indicate a shift in their neutral position toward supporting Russian narratives.
