He talked about all his friends in Ukraine being left without electricity due to missile strikes. He sharply criticized the May 9 Victory Day celebrations, noting that the holiday was desecrated by the fact that the Russian army once again bombed peaceful Ukrainian cities while military hardware solemnly rolled across Red Square, among other posts.

Despite his anti-war statements, in August 2025 ShadowPriestok participated in an advertisement for the "Alabuga Polytech" college.

The college is situated within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, which since 2023 has been linked to the manufacture of Russian combat drones. The project is under Western sanctions due to its participation in supporting Russian military production.

In the promotional integration, the blogger advertised education at "Alabuga Polytech" and thereby contributed to attracting new students to a facility tied to assembling Iranian "Shahed" attack drones.

After some time, mentions of the college were edited out of ShadowPriestok's videos, but evidence of his collaboration remained documented on the website Gubanov Files.

Evgeniy's subscribers repeatedly asked for comments regarding the Alabuga ad situation. However, the blogger did not issue a dedicated public statement to his multi-million audience. He posted his explanations in a closed discussion inside the Telegram chat "Zhekin Chat" in 2026, where only a fraction of his subscribers could see them:

I went to their website, looked through a couple of tabs — didn't find anything alarming, there was nothing written anywhere about drones, so I agreed... That very day subscribers messaged me, I started investigating and found articles about what they actually do there. It was my responsibility to find out what really happens there, I screwed up big time here. I wrote to the advertising agency that I didn't want this ad on my channel, but according to the contract it had to reach a certain view count, otherwise there would be lawsuits and I would be letting them down. Once the video reached the required views, I safely cut out the ad and deleted it everywhere. I didn't make apology posts so as not to stir up the topic again and cause the «Streisand effect.» I appear on lists because people look via the Web Archive, which records that the ad was once there, but it's no longer there now.

According to ShadowPriestok, after learning what "Alabuga Polytech" engages in, he could not immediately remove the advertisement due to contractual terms. The integration stayed in the video until it reached the required number of views, after which it was removed. At the same time, the blogger did not clarify whether he waived payment for the advertisement.

ShadowPriestok's social media accounts are registered in the official register of Roskomnadzor (RKN), confirming compliance with Russian regulatory legislation governing bloggers.

At the Noize MC concert in 2026

In July 2026, Evgeniy published a video message on Telegram round video from a concert of anti-war musician Noize MC, accompanying the video with the caption: «Check out who I came to see. Now we're going to watch ballet. Let the swans dance». This remark refers to the August 1991 coup attempt, when Soviet television broadcast the ballet "Swan Lake" instead of regular news.

The blogger also published a video from the beginning of the concert in which the audience chanted "No to war!", adding a heart sticker to the clip.
