Svetlana Permyakova is a Russian theater and film actress, former member of the Parma KVN team (Perm Krai), and DJ on Pioneer FM. She gained widespread fame playing the role of nurse Lyuba in the TV series "Interns." Born on February 17, 1972, in Perm, RSFSR.
During the "Revolution of Dignity" in Kyiv in 2014, she published a post hinting that she did not support Euromaidan:
And in support of all Kyivans: you are residents of a hero-city! Do not allow a repetition of fascism! Peace, kindness, and love!
In October 2017, she was entered into the Myrotvorets database for deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine and unlawful touring activities in Russian-occupied Crimea.
Svetlana Permyakova's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Svetlana Permyakova supported the so-called special military operation.
In May 2023, the VK group "Donbass Seychas" posted a video report by Svetlana about humanitarian aid collected for military personnel and refugees residing at a temporary accommodation center in Khartsyzk:
You know, it is better to provide small but concrete assistance to our fighters, the guys who are fighting Nazis in Ukraine. To help civilians, to help fighters, to help those in need. This small, concrete assistance is precisely what we, together with our artists, strive to provide. Every little bit helps, and for someone in need, it amounts to a great deal.
In October 2024, she visited the Unified Contract Enlistment Selection Point in Moscow. The actress explained the reason for her visit as follows:
I cannot stand aside. My stance is stated very clearly: this is my Motherland, this is my duty, and I cannot act otherwise. Therefore, I support all the guys going to the SMO. We, as artists, at our own posts support our boys however we can. With good spirits, theatrical plays, and concerts. And the guys are fulfilling their duty
