Tatyana Vasilyeva is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress and television presenter. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1992). Born on February 28, 1947, in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR.
In August 2015, she was entered into the Myrotvorets database for deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine and touring performances in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
She made statements against Alexei Navalny, calling him "an American or German spy".
On January 30, 2022, in an interview on the YouTube channel "A pogovorit?", she declared that she trusted Putin:

Tatyana Vasilyeva's stance on the war in Ukraine
Tatyana Vasilyeva supported the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. In one of her interviews, the actress stated:
I love Russia and I feel like a Russian woman. If I were a bit younger, I would have gone there myself (to the active combat zone, - ed.). I would bandage wounds, I would shoot. I am such a patriot right now!
According to the actress, on the morning of February 24, when Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of the special operation in Ukraine, her life changed for the better: "I started to respect myself more. I stopped being afraid and looking for a comfortable place."

Vasilyeva condemned actors with anti-war stances and cultural figures who emigrated, claiming that Chulpan Khamatova "acted like a pig that stuffed itself on acorns." She called Galkin a "scoundrel" and claimed Pugacheva "turned out to be a very stupid person."
By her own admission, she filed a denunciation against Iosif Raihelgauz, artistic director of the "School of Modern Play", over his anti-war remarks.
On the show "Antonyms" with Anton Krasovsky, the actress asserted the effective demise of Ukraine as a sovereign state:
We are already living without Ukraine. It has already been divided between Russia and America. Western Ukraine will go to Poland. It shouldn't have been like this, but that's how it turned out. In any case, we made no efforts towards that.
