Anar Abdullaev (Anar) is a popular Russian-Azerbaijani video blogger and one of the most well-known IRL streamers in the CIS, streaming on Twitch. He was born on October 20, 1998, in Nizhnevartovsk (Russia). He is a member of the "Staya" streaming group.

Anar Abdullaev's position on the war in Ukraine
Following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Anar made no direct statements regarding the war. But on his livestreams, he repeatedly demonstrated pro-Russian and patriotic rhetoric: congratulating Putin on his birthday, joking about Ukraine — in particular claiming that the capital of Ukraine is Moscow — and blessing Russia. However, in June 2026 in Tbilisi (Georgia), a high-profile incident occurred that compelled the blogger to openly demonstrate his civic stance.
Incident in Georgia (2026)
During a stream from Tbilisi, Anar complained that local residents did not want to speak Russian with him. After that, he began to criticize Georgia and stated that he no longer planned to leave Russia for anywhere:
There are no Russian words, no Russian food, and no Russian spirit here
Later, a subscriber approached him speaking in English and asked to take a photo together. At the end of the conversation, the young man said: «Slava Ukraini!» (Glory to Ukraine!). In response, Anar shouted:
I f**king condemn that, Forward Russia! Did you hear what he said? That piece of sh*t. Said glory to others. Glory to Russia!
This incident quickly went viral on social media and regional news outlets, clearly defining which side the blogger takes in this conflict.
