Olyashaa (Olga Sakson) is a popular Russian streamer and video blogger. Rose to widespread prominence through conversational streams in the Just Chatting category on the Twitch platform. Born in Russia.

Olyashaa on the war in Ukraine

Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.

Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.

In January 2026, she was entered into the database of the Myrotvorets website for participating in acts of humanitarian aggression against Ukraine, propaganda of war, and Russian fascism and Nazism.

Olyashaa's Stance on the War in Ukraine

Immediately following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, on February 25, 2022, Olyashaa published a post on her Telegram channel in which she avoided direct condemnation of the aggressor. In effect, she diluted responsibility by stating that "everyone is to blame" for what occurred, refusing to identify Russia as the initiator of the war.

Subsequently, the streamer's stance became increasingly clear through her statements and circle of close associates:

Support for Propagandists

Olga Sakson openly maintains close friendships with and endorses prominent Russian propagandists — Stas "Ay Kak Prosto" (Stanislav Vasilyev) and blogger GRPZDC. Both of them are employees of the "Solovyov LIVE" channel, regularly travel to occupied Ukrainian territories, justify war crimes committed by the Russian Armed Forces, and raise funds for Russian combat troops.

  • Whitewashing state propaganda: During her live broadcasts, Olyashaa repeatedly attempted to "whitewash" Stanislav Vasilyev's reputation. She insisted that working for Vladimir Solovyov is "not an indicator" of character, asserting that Stas is allegedly not a "pro-Putin" propagandist.
  • Promoting pro-war Z-media: On October 7, 2022, she promoted on her Telegram channel Stanislav Vasilyev's propaganda documentary "Donbas Diary", which parrots Kremlin narratives justifying the occupation of Eastern Ukraine.
  • Personal loyalty: Olga stated that she is prepared to maintain a friendship with Stas "Ay Kak Prosto" no matter what, as she does not view his actions as wrong.

Attitude Toward Repression and Mizulina

The streamer expressed sympathy for the head of the "Safe Internet League" Ekaterina Mizulina, infamous for filing denunciations against anti-war artists and bloggers.

If I met Mizulina, we would have a normal chat, maybe even have a drink... I would work with her on targeted sanctions.

In practice, the blogger expressed a willingness to cooperate with the censorship apparatus of the Russian Federation.

Statements on War and Crimea

Olga Sakson regularly broadcasts typical talking points of Russian state propaganda:

  • On Crimea: She avoids giving a direct answer to the question "Whose is Crimea?", responding evasively: "Crimea is mine." Concurrently, sharing childhood memories, she remarked: "Every summer in childhood I flew to Crimea, Crimea was Ukrainian back then", which directly implies accepting Crimea as Russian in the present day.
  • On Ukrainians: She claimed that she "does not distinguish between Ukrainians and Russians", repeating the imperialist "one nation" narrative. She also recounted stories about "friends from Donbas who support Russia."
  • On the war: The streamer believes that war is "normal" because countries have always waged wars. She declared that she does not understand Russians who feel ashamed of their country, and emphasized: "Is Russia really the first country ever to unleash a war?".

Interaction with the State

Despite attempting to preserve a neutral image, Olga actively collaborates with Russian state-controlled digital platforms. Starting in 2022, she began broadcasting on VK Play — a platform established to replace Western services and overseen by entities closely tied to the Kremlin. The streamer actively channels her audience there.

She is also registered on "Gosuslugi" in the Roskomnadzor (RKN) registry, representing the official submission of data to the Russian state for regulatory oversight.
