Bulkin (Aleksandr Bulkin) is a popular Russian video blogger, Let's Player, and car enthusiast. Born in Saint Petersburg. Best known for his entertainment gaming videos (GTA, CS:GO) and automotive reviews on his Bulkin Drive channel.

Monetizes content (via streams, ads, subscriptions, merchandise sales, or music platforms) and, in accordance with applicable laws, pays taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Any engagement with this content — views, likes, donations, merchandise purchases, or streams — indirectly contributes to financing the Russian economy and, consequently, the war against Ukraine.
Bulkin's Stance on the War in Ukraine
The day following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Aleksandr Bulkin published an Instagram post featuring a vague, pacifist message "for peace in the whole world":

In March, he released a video urging followers to subscribe to his social networks so as not to lose touch with his audience, "since we live in such a time where it is unknown how things will change." At the conclusion of the video, he uttered the phrase "peace to everyone."
Bulkin continued releasing entertainment content in his usual format, completely steering clear of the subject of military hostilities.
In the spring of 2022, the blogger remained active on Russian social media platforms, running polls on how his audience bypasses Instagram blocks using VPNs. Later, he began traveling extensively and, judging by his vlogs, spent a significant amount of time in Turkey and Dubai.
Work in the Russian Federation, Taxes, and Loyalty to the Authorities
In his videos released following the start of the invasion, Bulkin has continued integrating advertisements for Russian companies under Western sanctions. In particular, his videos released in 2023 featured advertising for Tinkoff Bank. This demonstrates the continuation of his commercial operations within the legal framework of the Russian Federation and the payment of taxes into the Russian state budget.
In June 2025, the blogger decided to congratulate his subscribers on Russia Day: "Happy holiday, native country!". Previously, he had only extended congratulations for Victory Day in World War II and Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23). Unlike historical dates, Russia Day directly symbolizes endorsement of the current political regime of the Russian Federation, which under wartime conditions can be interpreted as a public gesture of loyalty to the authorities.
Furthermore, Aleksandr registered his channel in the Roskomnadzor registry (via Gosuslugi). This signifies that he voluntarily consented to the Russian state officially monitoring and regulating his activities, fully accepting the rules of Russian state censorship.
Advertising Alabuga

In 2025, Bulkin advertised the "Alabuga Polytech" college in a YouTube video. This institution is located within the "Alabuga" Special Economic Zone, which since 2023 has been intimately tied to a plant for the mass assembly of military kamikaze strike drones. The project has been placed under EU and US sanctions for producing weaponry for the war against Ukraine, as well as for the exploitation of underage students and foreign nationals for forced labor. "Alabuga" is an integral component of the Russian military-industrial complex. Following the public scandal over potential sanctions for promoting Alabuga in April 2026, Bulkin hastily deleted the commercial integration segment featuring the college from his video.
