Bianka (Tatiana Lipnitskaya) is a Belarusian and Russian R&B singer, songwriter, music producer, dancer, and TV presenter. In 2007, she won the MTV Russia Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Project. Born on September 17, 1985, in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR. Since 2010, she has lived and worked in Moscow.

Bianka on the war in Ukraine

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.

In April 2017, she was listed in the database of the Mirotvorets website for unlawful visits to Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk Oblast), public support for Russian aggression, and the murder of Ukrainian citizens.

In June 2017, the singer was banned from entering Ukraine, which she addressed on her Instagram:

...I lived in Kyiv for 6 years, traveled up and down across the whole of Ukraine, received all kinds of national awards, wrote a track in Ukrainian (since I know the language fairly well), and consider Ukraine my homeland no less than Belarus and Russia....

Bianka's stance on the war in Ukraine

Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Bianka decided to speak out for peace, "genuinely" wondering: "Why fight… why kill people.. I understand nothing about politics":

In September 2024, Bianka found herself at the center of a scandal after performing at the German festival Glamotion, which public activists claimed had secretly raised money to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Against this backdrop, an appeal was submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation demanding she be declared a foreign agent for performing in a NATO member state. Bianka responded by posting a video from the previous year's festival waving a Russian flag and stating: "My position is absolutely clear, and I represent it to the entire world."

Additionally, the singer continues to vacation and stage concerts in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Unlawful travel to occupied territories violates Ukrainian law and international legal standards, and is regarded as indirect legitimation of Russia's occupation of the Crimean peninsula.
