«Masha i Medvedi» (Masha and the Bears) is a Russian rock band formed in 1997 by lead vocalist Maria Makarova.

In July 2022, Masha Makarova took part in Garik Sukachyov's "anti-emigrant" music video «Ya ostayus» (I Am Staying) alongside performers such as Sergey Shnurov ("Leningrad"), Vladimir Shakhrin ("Chaif"), Aleksandr F. Sklyar ("Va-Bankъ"), Oleg Garkusha ("Auktsyon"), Sergey Galanin ("SerGa"), Sergey 'Chizh' Chigrakov ("Chizh & Co"), Evgeny Margulis ("Voskresenie", "Mashina Vremeni"), Andrey Knyazev ("Knyazz", "Korol i Shut"), Aya ("Gorod 312"), Svetlana Surganova, Vladimir and Sergey Kristovsky ("Uma2rman"), Maksim Kucherenko ("Undervud"), and others.
Maria Makarova performed in military hospitals in Saint Petersburg and Krasnodar. In addition, the singer travels with concert tours to the Donbas:
