In May 2024, he was entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for publicly supporting Russian aggression and the killing of Ukrainian citizens, spreading Kremlin propaganda narratives, and other actions.
Aleksandr Flomaster's stance on the war in Ukraine
With the onset of the full-scale war, Flomaster created a political propaganda project called POSTPARTNERY on YouTube and Telegram, where he began reviewing political developments.
Flomaster's political videos and posts are thoroughly permeated with support for the war and the Kremlin regime, as well as hatred toward Ukrainians.
Flomaster's quotes about the war:
Regarding Putin:
Buying politics in its entirety—that's what's important. The scale of a man who reveres history, knows what Russia is, and wants to leave a lasting mark... Putin has his own task of leaving his mark: orchestrating the 2014 Olympics, developing hypersonic weaponry, leaving behind a strong Russia, because his power directly correlates with the strength of the Russian state. It's like his corporation—if it fucks over all the other corporations, it means he is the top dog.
He continually draws comparisons with U.S. foreign policy in the spirit of "why are they allowed, but we aren't?"
He reduces the causes of the war to Kremlin talking points regarding alleged persecution of Russians, the ban on the Russian language in Ukraine, and so forth:
Ukrainians are now lecturing us—go and overthrow your government... Right, so that we end up with our own Zelenskyy or Poroshenko; that's precisely why we should go and overthrow something. No thanks, we'll pass... If you are being gently fattened up for slaughter to unleash against us, flirting with the European Union and NATO, yet very cautiously, never accepting you fully. If you are sent into the meat grinder like right now, and if anything happens, they say: «Oh well, here are some sanctions, but we won't fight for you... fend for yourselves.» Those are your friends and partners, folks... You will have the opportunity to make a free choice after Russia cleanses your country of this garbage... but if they cleanse the world, having deemed it necessary because of anti-Russian chants and bans on the Russian language—Russia will act.
He justifies Russia's 2014 invasion of Ukraine, invoking the principle of "might makes right":
Talk that Russia can afford to merely watch the atrocities of Ukraine's fascist regime is ridiculous. If you believe that all nations possess equal sovereign power... my condolences to you. There is a decision-making center, three global superpowers.
He openly endorses the so-called "special military operation" and its maximalist goals:
I truly hope that the special military operation culminates in success. That the country's trajectory will either become neutral or whatever path they choose, but safe for neighbors at minimum. Everything the Americans built in terms of their military bases and biolabs will be eradicated, and Russophobes will answer exactly as they ought to.
He repeats the propaganda trope claiming that Russia strikes exclusively military targets with precision weapons, and could destroy Ukraine within an hour if it wished, but Russians are purportedly so noble that they spare civilians.
...For now, Ukrainians can sit in heated apartments with running water and electricity across the vast majority of their territory. They can sit and rant about a terrible, bloodthirsty, cannibalistic fascist regime (editor's note: Russia) that hasn't shut off their power and water. Even though this could be done from Russia; these issues could be resolved with missiles.
He also claims that Ukraine has never existed, alleging it was merely a gift from Lenin, and supports the recognition of the pseudo-republics "LPR" and "DPR".
In terms of his rhetoric, Flomaster closely mirrors official Russian state propagandists like Solovyov or Skabeyeva.
A detailed breakdown of Flomaster's stance and public statements was produced by blogger Nyuberg in the video "RUSSIAN STREAMERS: Conflict amid the war. Nyuberg against, Flomaster Za".
