Hofmannita (real name Anna Mikheeva) is a rap artist, former participant in the reality show "Patsanki" ("Tomboy"), and Instagram blogger. She gained popularity through her outrageous style and provocative behavior. Born on August 18, 1994, in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In August 2020, she was listed in the Myrotvorets database for illegal visits to occupied Crimea and support for the open attack of fascist Russia on Ukraine.
Hofmannita's Stance on the War in Ukraine
From the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Hofmannita made no statements expressing her attitude toward the war. She did not condemn the aggression, did not express support for Ukraine, and did not call for peace. However, starting in 2023, she began gradually leaning toward a pro-Russian stance.
Conflict with Mizulina
Following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the "Safe Internet League", headed by Ekaterina Mizulina, stepped up its campaign against "destructive" bloggers and musicians. Hofmannita also fell into the "league's" crosshairs. Mizulina accused the singer of promoting debauchery, immoral behavior on stage, and tracks containing "unsafe content" for minors. The singer's concerts began to be canceled.
On May 23, 2023, Hofmannita wrote a penitent letter to the head of the "Safe Internet League" pleading to allow her concerts:
...I changed my artist image long ago, from a reckless girl to a creative character who writes music about fantasies in the world backed by the literary mechanics of the Russian language. Songs containing profanities were bleeped/muted from past tracks or completely cut out a year and a half ago. My team and I promote exclusively a healthy lifestyle. We altered the vector of our musical creativity and its delivery long ago. At the time of the SMO, I never spoke out against the Russian army; on the contrary, I supported the annexation of Crimean territories, for which I received a ban on the Instagram platform prohibited in the RF, and also scheduled concerts in Simferopol and Sevastopol this summer, never left anywhere and stayed here the whole time, and was also always open to cooperation and assistance in instilling sense into the impressionable minds of teenagers who frequently come to my concerts...
On May 29, 2023, Ekaterina Mizulina posted on Telegram about a meeting with the artist, accompanied by a photograph and the message:
Singer Hofmannita promised to delete tracks with hazardous content and strictly observe moral standards henceforth. We will monitor the fulfillment of promises
Hofmannita's conflict with Ekaterina Mizulina became a typical example of the Russian authorities' "upbringing work" with performers. Under threat of being banned from performing, even outrageous artists are forced to adapt to "traditional values" norms and demonstrate loyalty.
Concerts in Occupied Crimea and Pro-Kremlin Agenda
On June 23, 2023, a video emerged from Hofmannita's concert in Simferopol, in which the singer shouts "Russia will do it beautifully!", after which a machine gun burst sounds from the speakers.
Mizulina immediately approved Hofmannita's performances in occupied Crimea:
Hofmannita performed in Crimea yesterday. «Russia! Does it beautifully!», the performer supported our country. Well done
In July 2024, after undergoing treatment in rehab, she gave an interview to Pasha Technik, in which she blamed American propaganda for negatively impacting Russians:
We in Russia are different. We were influenced by American garbage, propaganda of something inadequate. They are allowed all of that so that they become weak-willed and easily controlled. We are not like that, we must fight and go all the way
