Ilya Mazellov's stance on the war in Ukraine
During Russia's full-scale assault on Ukraine, MZLFF was busy preparing for and participating in rap battles, which he regularly reported on his social networks. Regarding his country's military aggression and the so-called "special military operation," the musician did not utter a single word, adopting a stance of silence:

Donations for "the boys" in the so-called SMO zone
In May 2024, Mazellov admitted that he had donated "toward humanitarian aid for the boys in the SMO zone." According to him, he contributed to a fundraiser organized by his good friend Zhora for "humanitarian aid or not humanitarian aid...". The aforementioned Zhora is the political pro-war Z-blogger GRPZDC (Zhora PZDC), who hosts the program "PSIOP" on the propaganda channel Solovyov Live, regularly visits the occupied territories of Ukraine, runs fundraisers for Russian soldiers, and shows videos on his streams where Russian drones kill Ukrainian servicemen.
In August 2024, he took part in a charity concert intended to raise funds for humanitarian aid to residents of Kursk Oblast affected by active hostilities. Furthermore, a portion of the funds was designated for the purchase of electronic warfare (EW) systems.
In June 2026, amid accusations regarding past donations to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), Mazellov published a post on his Telegram channel in which he publicly admitted to multi-year regular support for the Russian military:
Despite claiming that he is "against any hostilities," in reality this involves providing direct aid to the armed forces of a state waging war against Ukraine.
Inclusion in the "Myrotvorets" database
In April 2026, he was entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for war propaganda, financing, and supplying Russian occupation forces, and related activities.
Joining the "New People" party
In September 2026, it became known that Mazellov became a member of the "New People" political party. The blogger explained that following denouncements, including by Vitaly Borodin, his concerts began being canceled and threats of criminal prosecution emerged. Mazellov lost millions of rubles because of this. "New People" and Vladislav Davankov decided to help him. As a token of gratitude and for future protection against further issues, Mazellov joined the party and received his party membership card.
The "New People" party supports the decisions of the Russian leadership and the war against Ukraine. "New People" unanimously supported the recognition of the "DNR/LNR" and the initiation of hostilities in February 2022.
