"Vyshel Pokurit" (Yura Avangard, real name Syomin) is a Ukrainian hip-hop artist and beatmaker. He gained widespread popularity following exposure on the Russian social network VKontakte in 2017. He actively collaborated with members of the Russian collective Dead Dynasty. Born on May 16, 2002, in Odesa, Ukraine.

Yura Avangard's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Yura Avangard took an unequivocal anti-war stance. The musician immediately engaged in providing support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, organized the purchase and delivery of drinking water to Mykolaiv, and documented in Instagram stories the atrocities committed by the aggressor state on Ukrainian territory. He also cancelled all concerts in Russia.
Presently, the artist performs primarily in European cities. In the summer of 2025, Vyshel Pokurit took part in the Ready Fest festival in Warsaw, which also featured Russian artists Face, IC3PEAK, Monetochka, and Pornofilmy, who have all openly spoken out against the war in Ukraine.
During his European concerts, Yury appears on stage draped in the Ukrainian flag and, together with the audience, chants "Glory to Ukraine!" and "Putin is a dickhead".
Ties to the Russian music market
The artist still maintains a page on the banned Russian social network VKontakte, and continues to upload Russian-language tracks to streaming platforms such as Yandex Music, Zvuk, and VK Music. This means that a portion of streaming royalties goes to the Russian state budget through service taxes, indirectly helping fund the war against Ukraine.

Yura Avangard ("Vyshel Pokurit") openly maintains an anti-war stance and actively supports Ukraine, but simultaneously preserves ongoing commercial ties with the Russian music market.
