Yanchik (real name — Yan Shaymukhametov) is a Russian video blogger, comedy sketch creator, and participant in popular reality shows. He was born on February 7, 1999, in the town of Oktyabrsky (Bashkortostan). He gained wide popularity among youth in 2020–2021 through humorous short videos on TikTok and Instagram under the handle ynchq.

Yanchik's stance on the war in Ukraine
On the day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Yanchik briefly described the unfolding situation on his Telegram channel with the Russian expletive "p...dets" ("f***ed up"):

The blogger continued developing his career in the Russian entertainment industry. He became a frequent guest on television projects (for example, taking part in large-scale TNT shows such as «Big Jackpot. Bangkok») and appeared in programs (such as a science show with Dmitry Khrustalyov) produced with the support of the pro-government Internet Development Institute (IRI).
Advertising Alabuga
In 2024, Yanchik promoted the «Alabuga Polytech» college, located within the «Alabuga» special economic zone (source 1, source 2). Since 2023, this facility has been closely linked to the plant engaged in the mass assembly of military kamikaze drones. The project is included in EU and US sanctions lists for manufacturing weapons for the war against Ukraine, as well as exploiting the labor of underage students and foreign citizens. «Alabuga» is an integral component of Russia's military-industrial complex.
Russian authorities intentionally bought advertising from youth idols to lure unsuspecting teenagers to the plant. By promoting this project, Yan Shaymukhametov effectively acted as a recruiter of cheap labor for the Russian military-industrial complex.
In May 2026, Yanchik's TikTok account was banned, presumably for advertising «Alabuga Polytech». The account had nearly 12 million followers.
The blogger is registered on the Roskomnadzor state portal. This signifies that the Russian state officially monitors and regulates his activities.
