6ix9ine (Daniel Hernandez, also known as Tekashi69) is an infamous American rapper. He gained popularity in 2017 following the release of the commercial single "Gummo". His work stands out for an aggressive performance style and is accompanied by shocking behavior, a criminal background, and numerous tattoos. He was born on May 8, 1996, in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

6ix9ine's position on the war in Ukraine
Following the outbreak of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, 6ix9ine became one of the few American artists who not only ignored the international boycott of Russia, but also openly expressed sympathy for the aggressor country.
In September 2022, the rapper flew to Moscow. During media interactions and at performances, he made a series of statements in which he effectively supported the Russian side. In an interview with "Izvestia", 6ix9ine stressed that in the US people are openly "lying" regarding what is happening in Ukraine and the "special operation" being conducted by Russia:
My decision is my decision. I love Russia. And people lie in the US when they talk about the war. When I came to Russia, you came... and you're normal, and you're doing everything right
Hernandez added that he came to Moscow without security and felt completely safe:
Russia impressed me. We came, we showed our love. And we'll go home. I'm overflowing with love. Thank you very much
Despite ongoing hostilities and severe international sanctions, the artist continued commercial cooperation with Russian organizers. In October 2024, Tekashi 6ix9ine visited the capital of the Russian Federation again with a large solo concert at the "MTS Live Hall" venue. Ahead of his arrival, he actively blew kisses to Russian fans on social media and stated that he loves Moscow very much, deliberately ignoring the fact that taxes paid for his performances go toward financing military aggression against Ukraine.
In December 2025, 6ix9ine released a collaborative track with Russian Z-singer Margo titled «Buratino», in which she performs the line: «6ix9ine is ours now, yeah».
