Musagaliev's position on the war in Ukraine
Publicly, Azamat has never directly voiced his civic position, but through his actions he clearly demonstrated which side he is on.
In September 2023, together with his partner Denis Dorokhov, he arrived at the Saur-Mogila memorial complex with comedy routines to take part in a concert commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Donbas. During their performance, they did not even mention peace, but instead sang before Russian occupiers about Americans and Germans whom Russian "Vasiliys" could destroy. For instance, lyrics from their song: "Somewhere across boundless, snow-covered Siberia, a mobile ballistic missile system rolls...", "Somewhere across the waters of the Baltic Gulf, a nuclear-powered submarine lies submerged with a Bulava missile..."

The guys were probably heavily set up. There was an element of «haggling» or pressure. But when I saw that song about missiles... Well, that's just... Dorokhov's dance really finished me off... Okay. You were forced, something else happened, you wanted it yourselves. Let's set that aside. But a song about missiles? You are saying that missiles are cool, and killing is cool. Firing missiles is cool. That is terrifying! Why a song about missiles? Some of my friends say this is already complicity. I don't want to hate them, but I can no longer love them either.
Following his visit to occupied Donbas and endorsement of Putin in the elections, there is no doubt left that Azamat Musagaliev supports the Putin regime and, accordingly, the war in Ukraine.
