Loqiemean (Roman Khudyakov) is a Russian hip-hop artist, EDM producer, beatmaker, DJ, and sound engineer. Member of the creative association Kultizdat. He was born on December 28, 1993, in Tomsk, Russia.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Loqiemean's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Stance Before the Full-Scale Invasion
Even before the full-scale invasion, Loqiemean frequently spoke out against the aggressive policies of the Russian government and about Putin:
I did not elect this government, but I feel responsibility for living under it and that my taxes are spent on violence. The Russian government pursues its own personal economic interests... My government does not protect my interests.
Is it scary that missiles fly in 4 minutes? Build air defense that shoots them down in one minute and place it on YOUR OWN territory. No, instead they had to flush money down a golden toilet for 8 years. Estonia and Latvia border Russia and NATO has been there since 2003, 2004 — what the f*** difference does it make whether Ukraine joins NATO or not? I understand that this is just a pretext, but this NATO argument is so weak that you could only spoon-feed it through a straw to toothless pensioners.
I hope that I will meet him (editor's note: Putin) when we see him off to the other world. What is there to talk to him about? He is not human. Whatever you say — he couldn't care less. You can't bring him to his senses. The old man's worldview is already fixed.
February 24, 2022: Protest Against the War
On February 24, 2022, Loqiemean went out to an anti-war rally in Moscow:
I wake up, see the news — and I go hit the punching bag, do some wrestling, and simply can't comprehend: 'How? What?' And in the evening, I go to the rally at Pushkinskaya. I thought the thought, 'Nothing can be worse than this,' would bring everyone out into the streets. I thought there would be 500,000 people — but there were only 7,000. I shouted 'No to war!' four and a half times — and they twisted my arms and dragged me away. I stayed in the police station until one in the morning. I got a 15k ruble fine for that. But the problem isn't the fine, it's that a second arrest means criminal charges, you get 30 days in jail. And with each subsequent arrest, the sentence only increases.
Loqiemean shared his perspectives on the war, as well as on the conduct of both Russian and Ukrainian societies, in an extensive interview for The Flow website.
Loqiemean also posted anti-war statements on social media, most of which were deleted over time.

On March 23, 2022, Loqiemean posted a video where he is cooking meat and remarks that he would like those who struck a residential building in Odesa to be boiling in clay cooking pots.
On December 9, 2022, he released the studio LP "Pov3stka", dedicated to the theme of the war and criticizing the Russian state.
Government Pressure and Concert Cancellations
In April–May 2023, the rapper faced a harassment campaign by the leader of the "Male State" movement Vladislav Pozdnyakov and blogger Stas Vasilyev (Stas Ay Kak Prosto). They labeled Khudyakov a "Russophobe", accused him of helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and claimed the rapper had "fled to Kazakhstan" after the war.
On May 2, 2023, Ekaterina Mizulina submitted an appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office regarding artist Loqiemean, who had opposed the "SMO":
Rapper Loqiemean's tour across Russia has started being canceled. According to media reports, concert posters in Moscow, Samara, and Tyumen have vanished. But I don't think it will end merely with concert cancellations. It is entirely possible that he will be held administratively liable for discrediting the army and LGBT propaganda.

On May 3, 2023, Loqiemean published a statement regarding the forced cancellation of concerts across Russian cities on his Telegram channel, addressing each accusation point by point and concluding:
...I have always wanted to live in Russia and develop what I know and can do here, because I love my Homeland, even though I do not always agree with the state...
Arrest and Shift in Public Stance
On August 18, 2023, Moscow's Ostankinsky District Court sentenced Roman Khudyakov to 5 days of administrative arrest for an Instagram story featuring the flag of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). A protocol was drawn up against him for displaying the symbols of an extremist organization. Later, the rapper shared his thoughts on Telegram:
I did time in jail. More precisely, I spent five days in a detention center under arrest. On this occasion, I should reiterate my position regarding the cooking pots complaint. I was wrong: I must not wish harm upon my own army, because the army is inseparable from the people. And I am an inseparable part of these people.

This post clearly demonstrates pressure on the rapper from state authorities, which compelled Loqiemean to walk back and apologize for his earlier words condemning the so-called special military operation.
What Changed in Loqiemean's Stance
On February 2, 2024, the rapper performed at the "Future" festival (which also featured pro-Putin musicians Husky and Wildways), during which Khudyakov did not perform a single one of his anti-war songs.
Furthermore, Loqiemean's songs began expressing condemnation toward those who chose to abandon their families and leave the country for the sake of "speaking out freely on Twitter":
I could have flown off to London, that would be clever
Yet not even a hundred liters could wash away the shame ever
Leaving the family behind just for the right to post boldly on Twitter« (from the song »Kill«)
Hey, all the wh*res took the lifeboats
An odyssey leading nowhere
I love my own swamp« (from the song »Strugatskys' Swamp«)
In July 2026, a photo together with outspoken pro-war Z-artist Husky appeared on Loqiemean's Telegram channel.

The musician also operates an online merchandise store, with shipments being delivered to occupied cities of Ukraine, which are listed on the website as Russian cities.

In 2022, Loqiemean was unequivocally opposed to the war. However, following state pressure and arrest, his public stance shifted markedly: from recanting some of his previous statements to performing in Russia and engaging in new public associations. At the same time, we do not see direct pro-war endorsements on his part.
