Anti-War Statements in Music

Following the start of the full-scale war, anti-war statements and criticism of Russians appeared in 9mice's tracks:

In addition, at a concert in Moscow, 9mice chanted "Stop war" together with the audience.

Conflict with Mizulina

On October 3, 2023, one of 9mice's remarks addressed to Kai Angel caught the attention of Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the Safe Internet League, which she wrote about on her Telegram channel. She advised the rapper to delete the post about the "second-class nature of Russians" and apologize to all Russian citizens. She also promised that they would "take a close look at the creative work" of the artist.

On the same day, the rapper apologized and explained that his words were not related to his attitude toward Russians as a nation, but rather to a prolonged conflict with the Russian music industry.

Mizulina's Complaint to the Ministry of Internal Affairs

On June 29, 2026, Mizulina announced on her social media that she had filed an official complaint with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia regarding 9mice. According to her, the reason was "numerous letters from citizens", and a check was requested to inspect several tracks by the artist for the promotion of illicit substances.

Furthermore, Mizulina stated that the organization's legal experts were examining the rapper's materials for possible "discrediting" of the Russian Armed Forces and inciting ethnic strife.

Concerts in Occupied Crimea

On September 20, 2025, the artist was scheduled to give a concert in occupied Simferopol. Such a performance signifies a violation of international law and Ukrainian legislation, and is perceived as legitimizing Russia's occupation of Crimea.

However, three days before the show, a cancellation notice appeared: "We are forced to announce unpleasant news. Due to technical reasons, we announce the cancellation of 9mice's solo concert in Simferopol! The reasons are independent of the organization and the artist's team!"

Despite the cancellation of the concert in Crimea, 9mice was listed in the Myrotvorets database.
