Vladimir Selivanov (known by the stage name Vavan) is a Russian actor, musician, and KVN participant. He is best known for his role as Vovan in the comedy series "Realnye Patsany" ("Real Guys"), broadcast on the TNT television network. He was born on July 22, 1985, in Lysva, Perm Oblast, USSR.

In 2016, Vladimir Selivanov, along with other actors of the series "Realnye Patsany", embarked on a tour across occupied Crimea. The actor also visited the annexed peninsula in 2019, which he openly shared on his Instagram account.
Vladimir Selivanov's position on the war in Ukraine
After February 24, 2022, Selivanov supported the actions of the Russian army and Kremlin policy through his creative work.
One of the primary expressions of his political stance was the release of the song "Russia". As Selivanov himself noted, the track is dedicated to love for the Russian Federation and loved ones, and was inspired by his personal patriotic feelings. In the music video for this song, the actor openly glorifies participants of the so-called SMO:
The main idea of the music video is to show the warm and happy reunion of a soldier with his family, returning to live a full and rich life. That is why a real Hero of Russia, Vladislav Golovin, was invited to play the lead role
Vladislav Golovin, an "SMO" participant invited for the filming, added that he accepted Selivanov's offer immediately:
Through music, as through any form of creative art, there is an opportunity to cultivate patriotism. We can convey the culture and values of our country through creativity, speak about the beauty of our Motherland, and the strength and courage of our heroes... I decided to appear in the music video from the very first minutes of reading the song's lyrics, script, and storyline», Golovin stated.
Refusal of a Schengen visa
In 2025, it became known that Vladimir Selivanov was denied a Schengen visa. The actor commented on the situation as follows:
According to internal information passed to us, this is directly related to political reasons: because of the finale of the series «Realnye Patsany», where the topic of the SMO is raised (note: in the series finale, the actors visited an SMO military hospital), and also because of my patriotic stance — I showcased my new single «Russia» on social media. I think the final straw for them was also that in the music video we featured a real Hero of Russia, Vladislav «Struna» Golovin, who currently heads the YunArmia
Selivanov continues to live and work in Russia, takes part in patriotic concerts, congratulates soldiers of the Russian army on holidays, supporting the war in Ukraine not only with taxes, but also through information and propaganda activities.
