2rbina 2rista (Turbina Turista) is a Russian horrorcore and rap-rock group founded on April 2, 2011, in the closed city of Ozyorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast. The founding members were Ranto Garcia (Ranis Gaysin) and Dan Ayla, later joined by Max the Defiler (Maks Oskvernitel).

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
The frontman of the group, Ranis Gaysin, openly supported the occupation of Ukraine since 2014, backing Russian-backed militants and the creation of "Novorossiya." In an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, the musician admitted that he wrote one of his songs in honor of "the defenders of the Russian-speaking population in the Donbas." He also distinguished himself with aggressive anti-Western rhetoric claiming that the US engages in "genocide of other peoples," asserting that the "pro-Western Ukrainian regime won't be running wild for long," and reciting Russian state propaganda narratives:
I served in the Airborne Forces (VDV); they cultivated patriotism in us and taught us to die for the Motherland. In principle, I am pleased with Putin's actions. At first I didn't like him, but now I see that the president is very strong. He could easily deploy troops into Ukraine and overturn the whole country in a single day, but Putin understands that the consequences would be bad for all of us, and he doesn't do it
In April 2024, Ranis was added to the database of the Myrotvorets website for encroaching on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, public endorsement and justification of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, and other hostile acts.
In another interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, Gaysin spoke about supporting Russian proxy militias and the so-called "Novorossiya":
You know, if I had initially geared my work toward the West, I would write songs in English and wouldn't be shouting on every corner that I support Novorossiya and the separatists! But I prefer to stay on my own wave
I thought about it (editor's note: going to the front as a militant). I even looked into how it could be done and contacted coordinators. I personally understand who and what there is to die for there! But acquaintances who went as volunteers last year talked me out of it. Now I understand that here — in civilian life — I am of much greater use.
When asked, "Aren't you afraid that for such a position you will be blacklisted in Ukraine?", Gaysin answered:
I don't care. Who is going to do that? The current pro-Western regime? They don't have much longer left to run amok. One only needs to sweep away this riff-raff, and everything will instantly fall into place, you'll see.
Position of 2rbina 2rista on the war in Ukraine
Despite zealous public support for the war in 2014, following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory in 2022, the members of 2rbina 2rista did not utter a single public word.
In April 2022, Czech hip-hop group Sodoma Gomora invited Turbina Turista and several other prominent European rap acts to record a collaborative track. Subsequently, 2R2R's guest verse was purged from the song due to backlash over collaborating with Russians:
In the end, THEY CUT US from the track because we are RUSSIANS!
Invited us themselves — cut us themselves. Some victory that is.
In reality, the guys have nothing against us or our country, but they are terrified of getting 'cancelled.' It's understandable.
On June 18, 2024, Moscow's Preobrazhensky District Court arrested 2rbina 2rista frontman Ranis Gaysin on charges of promoting narcotics in his musical lyrics.
In March 2024, 2R2R concluded an extensive concert tour across Russian cities and retreated into the studio to work on new material.
