«7B» (7Б) is a Russian rock band founded in 2001. Frontman Ivan Demyan — lead vocals, acoustic guitar, composer and songwriter. For a period of time, Ivan lived and studied in Sievierodonetsk.
Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In June 2017, Ivan Demyan was entered into the «Myrotvorets» database as an accomplice of terrorists and Russian occupation forces, as well as for war propaganda, Russian Nazism and fascism, and visiting occupied Crimea.
The band has carried out active touring activities in the Donbas since 2014, recording uplifting videos about unity and the path «to the Great Victory».
Latvia banned Ivan Demyan from entering the country due to his support for the invasion and justification of Russian aggression.
The Band «7B»’s Position on the War in Ukraine
The musicians of the band «7B» are admirers of Putin's regime and fully endorse military aggression against Ukraine:
Ivan Demyan: «We, the band «7B», since 2014 were among the very first to be in Donetsk, in the DPR during the elections of Alexander Zakharchenko and so on. That was also where our acquaintance took place with Arsen Pavlov (callsign «Motorola», commander of the «Sparta» battalion, hero of the DPR) and many heroes who passed away so prematurely as a result of terrorist acts. Of course, the start of the SMO inspired me. Finally, the call of that people who needed support was heard: Russian-speaking Donbas, Donetsk, Luhansk. We (the Russian army) arrived just in the nick of time; otherwise, right now there would be completely different frontline borders. Who knows what would have happened to these republics, because opposing them is the entire West, not just the Ukrainian gang, that bandit regime. They were preparing to completely annihilate these territories. And we made the right move, pre-empting this lawlessness in time.
On March 7, 2022, on their «VKontakte» page, the band «7B» published an announcement for a Z-concert:
Right now it is vital to express support for the special operation and our army. The Z-concert is intended to demonstrate the attitude of true patriots toward the events taking place these days
In the spring of 2022, the group participated in the «Za Rossiyu» music-and-patriotic marathon in support of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
In November 2022, the group performed at the 1602nd Military Clinical Hospital in Rostov-on-Don for recovering service members of the Russian army who participated in the aggression against Ukraine.
Additionally, «7B» took part in the «Svoikh Ne Brosaem» concerts and on Russian National Flag Day at Luzhniki Stadium. They continue to actively perform both across cities in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories.
