Reaction to the full-scale invasion

Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Fedya Booker recorded a generic anti-war video appeal calling for an end to violence, unity, and media hygiene:

I don't want to be disingenuous, yet I have neither the strength nor the desire to keep quiet and accept what is happening. #notowar

On March 14, 2022, the artist shared his fears on his Telegram channel:

...I am terrified that my life will no longer be so comfortable, that it won't have so many opportunities and prospects. I am terrified that madness will prevail and the world will drown in the fire of war...

Humanitarian trip to Kherson

On April 27, 2022, Booker traveled to Russian-occupied Kherson via Crimea to deliver 1.5 million rubles in aid for residents, including medicine and food, and to evacuate four people. The artist wrote about the journey in detail on his Instagram:

On April 27, I was supposed to go on vacation to Vladikavkaz, but instead, I went to the war. To Kherson, a Ukrainian city occupied by the Russian army. Why? Specifically: to deliver 1.5 million rubles' worth of medicines gathered through charitable donations for residents to Kherson and Mariupol, and to evacuate 4 people: a family with a child and an elderly woman. Globally: to help establish a stable humanitarian corridor to Kherson through which those who don't want to (or cannot) leave their home can receive aid. Personally: to help where it is needed most right now. To do it with my own hands. Not to remain merely a spectator and commentator....

Shift in rhetoric, support for the "special military operation"

In August 2024, he took part in a charity concert intended to raise funds for humanitarian aid to residents of Kursk Oblast affected by active hostilities. Furthermore, a portion of the funds was designated for the purchase of electronic warfare (EW) systems.

In September 2025, an interview with pro-war rapper Madk1d was published on Booker's YouTube channel VSRAP. Discussing the track "Davno," written in support of the so-called SMO, Booker expressed respect for the artist and shook his hand in agreement with the artist's pro-war stance:

I won't ask about «Davno,» honestly, I don't want to... Not a single tenacious scribbler will let this s**t go, people who disagree with you, disagree with your position, with your worldview, will simply drain your blood to the last drop... You said enough with that track, for which, by the way, respect

In October 2025, he recorded a video where he commented on the arrest of the street musician band Stoptime for performing songs by foreign agents:

TV Rain [Dozhd] are utter scum, total dirtbags, disgusting beasts... the very idea of this TV channel is discredited... I see a person singing songs by foreign agents, TV Rain supports her, and she is getting a kick out of it. For me, people like that are as far away from my views as possible

Booker's remarks look like an attempt to display neutrality, yet they fundamentally align with official Russian rhetoric. He does not condemn repression, but instead shifts the blame for the arrests onto independent media outlets — TV Rain, bloggers, and journalists. Such an approach absolves the state of guilt and blames those who simply speak the truth.

Whereas for me, OUR OWN are the band Stoptime and all the people who are unfairly oppressed and persecuted. I have always tried to help such people however I could. Especially my fellow musicians.
