Cupsize (Nikolay Mamaev, also known under the pseudonym Nikolai Lifonov) is a Russian musician and rapper, frontman of the musical project Cupsize. Known for his provocative style blending elements of grunge, rap, and hyperpop. Born on July 16, 2003, in Yaroslavl, Russia.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Cupsize's stance on the war in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Cupsize did not utter a single word, adopting a position of complete public silence.
Conflict with Mizulina and demonstrations of loyalty
Between 2023 and 2024, Cupsize found himself at the center of a controversy over lyrics mentioning illicit drugs. In January 2024, a court fined him 5,000 rubles for drug propaganda, after which the artist pleaded guilty, claimed the lyrics were written as a joke, deleted the controversial songs, and publicly apologized to Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the Safe Internet League.
Cupsize continues actively touring Russian cities, constantly declaring his deep love for his Motherland and expressing admiration for it.

However, toward the atrocities committed by his "wonderful" homeland in the neighboring country, the artist prefers to turn a blind eye.
"Z-symbols" and questions of post-irony
Beyond standard declarations of love for Russia, there is also a circulating video featuring Mamaev, where the artist, wearing a Russian tricolor beanie, smokes alongside friends and directly states on camera: "I support Russia. That's first." Following this, the group displays the letters "Z" and "V" drawn on their hands.
While this might resemble juvenile post-irony, and fans might assume Cupsize is simply trolling for clout, such antics raise serious questions about appropriateness while a bloody war is underway.
