"Kalinov Most" is a Soviet and Russian rock band from Novosibirsk. Founded in 1986 by Dmitry Revyakin.
Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
On May 9, 2017, they performed at a Victory Day concert in Donetsk. The musicians met with militants of the so-called DPR. On May 11, Dmitry Revyakin's son and director of the band "Kalinov Most", Stepan Revyakin, shared details about this on his VKontakte page.
In June 2017, Dmitry Revyakin was entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for participating in propaganda events of the terrorist organization DPR, denying Russian aggression, and conducting illegal concert activities in occupied Crimea. Other members of the group: Viktor Chaplygin and Aleksandr Vladykin were also listed in the Myrotvorets database.
Kalinov Most Band's Stance on the War in Ukraine
The band "Kalinov Most", fronted by lead singer Dmitry Revyakin, openly supported both the war in Donbas and Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
In August 2022, they performed a concert in occupied Mariupol.
That same month, in an interview with the publication Ukraina.ru, Revyakin commented on the death of Russian propagandist Darya Dugina, pointing to an alleged terrorist policy of intimidation by Kyiv:
Terrorist acts of intimidation against Donbas and Russia were being prepared long ago, when no one understood this yet. Unfortunately, Ukraine adheres to this doctrine, and their handlers and mentors are well known — Britain, Europe, America. The fact that they intended to wage war against Russia was known long ago, and seminars and lectures were being held; people from Kyiv told me that terror was one of the essential components. Back then it seemed distant and unclear what would happen, but now it is unfolding. They demonstrated this in Donbas, and apparently will continue to show that we are vulnerable, that nobody can remain at peace. Well, that is intimidation, that much is obvious.
In June 2023, on the program "Muzyka +", answering questions from the host, Revyakin declared:
Together we will win! ... We have to take down this NATO at any cost. One must always stand with the people. The people are fighting, and we stand with the people.
In April 2024, in an interview with Ukraina.ru, Dmitry Revyakin described the Russo-Ukrainian war as a civil war:
A terrifying, yet natural culmination of the events of a decade ago — the Euromaidan and the 'ATO' in Donbas — is a fratricidal war in which Russians kill Russians.... The conclusion can now be drawn by everyone; all of us see the exact same thing. You do not need to be a genius to realize that a civil war is taking place, that Russians are killing one another with fury, obstinacy, and stubbornness. That is the main outcome. Everything else is speculation, propaganda, and conspiracy theories.
The group actively takes part in patriotic pro-war events, such as the festival "Donbas and Zabaikalye. Together" in January 2023 in Chita and "Donbas Express" (a competition for musicians from annexed territories) in February 2024 in Arkhangelsk. These festivals are designed to support the Russian military and residents of the occupied territories.
