Katya Lel has repeatedly visited the combat zone in the occupied territories of Ukraine, where she performed concerts for Russian military servicemen, as well as staging performances in annexed Crimea:
I performed on the firing line. If you are not a patriot of your country, if you do not care about your country's future, you cannot fail to perform there.
We flew into the military airfield in Crimea, Belbek. And then for four days we were driven across various hot spots, staging several concerts a day. We visited tank units, military hospitals near Artemovsk [Bakhmut]. We were before the firing line and directly on the firing line. I was there on behalf of the Presidential Administration.

Lel considers herself a patriot, calls Russia her Motherland, and publicly takes pride in performing for Russian soldiers to provide them with moral support. According to her, visiting soldiers made her realize just how important "spiritual support at the front" is:
When I saw how the soldiers' gaze shifted during my concert and how hope appeared in their eyes, I walked away inspired... and understood that something very important had occurred.
The singer also claimed that she was told in a dream about the conclusion of the so-called "special military operation" in 2025:
