Megamozg is a Russian nu-metal/metalcore band founded in 2020 in Moscow. The collective gained prominence thanks to an aggressive commercial sound, performances wearing masks and overalls, as well as self-producing music videos and promotion on social media. The band's leader and founder is Red Mask.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
The band Megamozg's position on the war in Ukraine
Following the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022, the band Megamozg made no direct statements regarding the war.
In June 2024, Red Mask gave an interview in which he directly declared his conscious distancing from socio-political topics:
Why don't I touch on political topics... it's necessary, look, we are talking about music, and that's how it should be. Ideally everyone should mind their own business... We are musicians, our job is to write music, you see, and your task is definitely to listen to it
He also noted that from the stage their band makes absolutely no anti-government statements.
Patriotic rhetoric
The band members regularly use patriotic rhetoric and love to shout at concerts (and elsewhere) about "great Russia" and the "great people."

A clear confirmation of this stance was the release of the track "Rodina" ("Motherland"). In the song's lyrics, the musicians openly appeal to state symbols ("the proud two-headed bird will shield me from troubles and lift me to the sky"), declare allegiance to the Motherland ("wherever you tell me, I will follow you"), and repeatedly chant "Russia, Russia". Against the backdrop of the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, such statements appear quite revealing.
Concerts in occupied territories
In 2025, the group announced a concert tour whose route passed through, among others, cities of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia: Donetsk, Simferopol, Sevastopol.

Registered on Roskomnadzor state services. This means the state can officially monitor and regulate the band's activities on social media.
Despite declarative claims of being "outside of politics," the actual activities of the band Megamozg, including touring occupied Ukrainian territories, are regarded as direct legitimization of Russian military aggression and support for the Kremlin's actions.
